Whispering Winds Family Camground

We recently stayed at Whispering Winds on our family vacation to Nova Scotia. I was very happy with the accommodations we had as well as the staff. Everyone was kind, courteous and very helpful. Highly recommend and I know that when we come back to this beautiful province this will be our place to go.

We had a great two night stay at Whispering Winds! We booked a camper trailer to rent but due to unforeseen circumstances it was unfit for our visit, however the staff and management were extremely courteous and helpful, they gave us a cabin instead with a free night included! It did rain while there but with the cabin we still had a blast! The young gentleman at the front desk was the same one as the previous year we visited and he is very professional and helpful! We cannot wait to come back! Thank you Whispering Winds!

An incredible weekend at Whispering winds! Lots of fun activities for kids, young and old, Halloween weekend never disappoints. Trick or treating, site decorating contests and the haunted house is something everyone should see! Amazing! Both pools very clean and refreshing in this heat!
Staff very welcoming and accommodating, will definitely be back.

We just stayed at Whispering Winds for the first time, and it didn’t disappoint! We had a spacious lot in a great location, very close to washrooms, a playground, and a pool. It was their Halloween weekend, so the kids had a blast trick-or-treating and going through the haunted house together…so much work went into it, and it was tons of fun. It was one of the best camping experiences we’ve ever had - we will definitely be back!!

What a phenomenal campground! Was there for Halloween weekend and was blown away. All the kids that got to enjoy dressing up, getting candy, the people that decorated their sites, and one of the best haunted walkthroughs I’ve ever been through. All put on by dedicated seasonal campers and volunteers. Congrats to all that worked so hard for others to enjoy. 10 times out of 10 would recommend this campground

What an amazing weekend. RV & tenting park with multiple amenities and welcoming campers that made our “Glamping” experience A+. The store had most of the essentials. A children's pool that was actually clear, clean and well maintained, an adult pool with grassy lawn chair area, clean grounds with multiple playgrounds and grassy area for the kids. Well marked sections, showers as bd a recreational centre. Overall this was one of the best parks we’ve visited this summer! We are already planning a weekend in August! Thanks for the memories Whispering Winds!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the campground for hosting our girls weekend away, it was amazing ! We rented one of the travel trailers ( there are 2 that you can book as well as cabins ) which cost less than a night at a hotel . Everyone we in countered were extremely helpful and only a phone call away if we needed anything . A great place for family and lots of activities if you wanted to venture out or just relax on the deck with tables, chairs and a bbq ( and possibly a cold beverage). We found it was a very quiet time as all the campers seem to follow the rules. We will definitely be back as the owners and workers strive to make sure you have everything you need, are right there if people are not following the rules to make everyone’s stay as enjoyable as possible !

During my brief adventure in my RV I was glad to have access to a place to dump septic. Very nice folks

Just had an amazing weekend at Whispering Winds. Everyone was very friendly, the haunted house they did for their Halloween day was terrifyingly fantastic, and the staff were great! Will definately be back!

My family LOVES Whispering Winds, not only is their staff and owner top notch, the campers themselves are great neighbours! We’ve tented there many times and enjoyed all that the campground has to offer. Even this year without activities due to COVID, they manage to do fun things, like a virtual colouring/painting content for the kids. Owner and staff go out of their way to make sure campers and seasonal are satisfied. Thank you Whispering Winds! We will definitely be back!

This place is a well kept secret. We just spent four days here and it was the most relaxing camping trip we have had in year's. The staff is extremely nice, and very easygoing; their intent is just for you to have a good stay. Did I mention the adult pool, that's right and you get your own pass to come and go when you wish. The water pressure is great, the Wi-Fi is great, the washrooms and showers have lots of hot water and are handicap accessible. Laundry facilities on site and excellent fire pits. A real gem, we will definitely be back.

Felt like more of a small community then it did a campground. Small kids are very safe at whispering winds seems like everyone is keeping and eye on every child to make sure they are safe. Was fun.

Always a great time at Whispering Winds. This is a great campground for all ages.

The campground is known for their kids and adult events on the weekends. Even during COVID times, the staff still manage to ensure everyone enjoys themsevles.

I love this place! Every time I stay at Whispering Winds the staff are very helpful and accommodating. Especially Dale! If you're looking to get away for the weekend I highly recommend this place. The seasonals are very friendly and its a very fun atmosphere.

I’ve been a seasonal here for 10 years. My family and friends really like it here. There is always something for someone to do young or old. Great pools and campsites.

Loved it great family oriented campground lots of fun stuff to do and the striped bass fishing can be insane if ya get there at the right time

Absolutely wonderful one of the best campgrounds around to go camping and we try to go somewhere different every weekend but we always return to Whispering Winds Dale the manager is very accommodating and very friendly

This is the best family campground I have ever been too, the staff are so friendly and accommodating, and just wants everyone to have fun, they have the best dances I have ever been too, you truly come as strangers and leave as friends, Dale is straight up awesome and will help in anyway, 5 stars all the way

my wife and I go to this campground a lot ,Dale and his staff are very friendly and will go out of there way to help you in any way.the people in there are friendly also.we like the way that you can stay up at the fire and listen to music (not load)and no one bothers you .people come and talk to you at our site and welcomes you into there site as well .Dale always tries to get me the site I want .I will always keep going back.

An amazing campground full of fabulous people and the kids weekend events were incredible. We will return.
