Came out for a Saturday night Leafs playoff game. Restaurant was very busy - but the staff were ON IT! Great atmosphere. I would highly recommend

A great place to hangout with your friends. The beers are nice and great. The food is really good and great for intervals between drinks. Thursday is a good day to visit because of $2 beers. The service is a bit slow but not too bad. Overall a great place to hangout in Guelph.

Felt really welcome there, the staff were quick to serve us and friendly. The wings are really good. I plan to stop in, whenever in Guelph. If you're into a pub atmosphere, I highly recommend.

Three of us went for the Sunday special 4 bucks off burgers. It was excellent. Real homemade burgers which is the absolute best to any good restaurant. Fries on the side were nice and fresh. Beers and burgers...what more can you ask for on Lazy Sunday. Waitress was friendly and did her job well. Give this place a try.

Nice Irish pub, awesome food, great service. We were going to the Riverrun theater and told the waitress and needed to get our food quick. She had our food and drinks at the table in no time and had our bill ready to go with time to spare. Great place !!!

Great place to stop for a pint. We love to go out for a walk and we come to McCabe's because they have Irish Beer on tap. Food is good and the staff is friendly. Today February 3 2024. We stopped in and there was one girl serving and she was busy, very busy. But she managed to sit people take drink order and bring people food all with running the bar and cleaning tables. She never stop moving she had about 7 to 10 tables with 4 to 6 at each. It she was truly amazing. She was happy and friendly I left she a great tip. We came back today April 14. Window all open, sun shining in beautiful spring day. Still the same great place.

Wooohooo patio is OPEN! SOO happy to be back to quasi normal! Thank you to McCabes Irish pub for opening. The food was amazing! Buffalo chicken wrap was already gobbled up before I could snap a pic. Great service.

Loved the fish and chips big fillets tons of fries drinks were good too, lots of TVs with hockey and at 10 pm they had live music

My preferred place for a weekend brunch. Great food and vibes. Parking could be a little difficult to find as it is downtown but it’s not impossible.

Personally I prefer the waterloo location to the Guelph one, but I still had a great experience here. All the staff was very friendly and and entertaining. The menu had a great selection of Pub favorites, and the food both looked and tasted pretty good. They often have live music here on the weekends which is very nice. My only minor complaint is that table service wasn't very fast, but that is understandable considering how busy it was when I visited. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Great place! Got a pint and wings/ribs between two people, solid price and tastes great. If I ever find myself in the neighborhood again I’ll be back. Great service, nice vibe, can’t complain!

My experience at McCabe's was exceptional! I was promptly seated and served with a menu by informative servers who had recommendations for food and beverages. Chloe makes a great caeser and amended it to my preferences! The location provides a great view of the downtown features Guelph has to offer. Expect prompt and professional service that makes a lasting impression. 💯

Not a lot to say. Just what I was looking for on Saturday night. Live entertainment! Band was incredible. Was with some mates having some snacks and beers. Prices were beyond reasonable for today's inflation environment lol service was beyond average and food was perfect. Weather was perfection!

Beautiful patio weather! So delighted downtown Guelph was busy! As we're all the patios. Had a late afternoon burger and fries at Mccabes - burger was awesome and service was pretty good with how busy it was!! Highly recommend!

We went for lunch today and got a prime seat in a booth beside the open air part. Our server was fast and friendly (wavy blond hair). Both of us ordered Buffalo chicken wraps, I ordered mine with no lettuce and the wrap was still enormous. They loaded it with chicken, cheese and tomatoes and the perfect amount of sauce so it didn't get soggy. It was the best wrap I've had in awhile. Fries were hot and salty and the beer was cold. I love the location and food at McCabe's and will definitely be back.

Nice place to get a beer and great location right at the center of the city. The bartenders were nice too when we asked for a unique drink. Relaxing atmosphere and the wood of the bar and furniture gives a cozy ambiance

Consistently good: good food, charming staff, good drinks, and open till late all seasons; cozy furniture and reasonably clean. This is our constant resort for wings and a drink.

Tonight myself and two friends visted for an inside table because it was freezing out. We we're met by Paige (the GM) who got us a table and made sure we were TAKEN CARE OF the entire night. We'd like to thank Paige for making this such an amazing experience, as well as our bartender who served us Alexa. This is what a real bar/dining experience is like. When the management is this involved... The gm was ALWAYS on the floor assisting her staff and guests. She was also just so sweet we could not even leave the table without writing a review.

We are not from Guelph, but visit frequently. Being from Toronto we dine out a LOT and have never been treated this well.

We will be coming back specifically to see Paige and Alexa!
