Treated like royalty and my curls have never looked better!! Dee has such a deep understanding of the science behind curly hair care - far beyond just curl type, but the moisture/protein balance, hair porosity, scalp needs, and so much more is just second nature to her. She pulls from that knowledge bank and customizes each treatment. She clearly LOVES what she does and is such a joy to spend time with. I'll definitely be back.

I had such an amazing experience at Aloe Beauty!! After receiving a bad haircut from someone else, Sara fixed it right up and truly gave me a wonderful haircut that was better than anything I could have asked for. She is super friendly and listened to all of my requests as well as giving her professional input. As a student she has advanced understanding that’s hard to come by now a-days! I have become obsessed with my hair and can’t stop looking in the mirror!! If you are thinking about getting your hair done here, you should definitely request sara. She has done a fantastic job at all the services I have received from her and I her never been disappointed!! I came in with very flat, straight hair and left with major curls, the amount of hair I had looking like it had doubled. My hair is naturally curly but I never had the right products or routine so over the years I started to lose the curls. After sharing her knowledge and recommending the right products for my hair I’m excited and hopeful these curls will stay with the right amount of effort and products.

I don’t live in Canada so getting my hair done professionally is a challenge. I really needed help after almost a year of permanent Color and bleach ends. Dee did a great Color correction on my curly hair and fixed the 4 different dark and brown tones I had, to a beautiful blonde. I have tried a number of places in Guelph and this is by far my favourite. Dee has amazing attention for detail and skill with cutting curly hair. I leave feeling beautiful every time. I never feel rushed here. Dee is also very knowledgeable about best products for curls and takes the time to teach you how to style at home. My hair health has improved significantly since starting with her less than a year ago. The team in the salon create amazing energy and it brings sense of comfort, community and connection while you have your services. I have never laughed so much at an appointment as I did today - with my stylist, the rest of the team and the other clients in the salon. It is a wonderful space and I look forward to my next visit! I had the absolute best haircut at Aloe Beauty by DMB. The moment you walk into this salon, you feel nothing but good energy and kindness from each of the staff. I am amazed how well my curls held for seven days after my haircut and still smelled so fresh. Priya was thorough with my cut, wash and style. I enjoyed every minute of my experience here and I will certainly be back! Dee, Priya, Olwyn and Sara truly love what they do and you feel it as a client. I had a celebrity moment with all hands on my hair during my haircut. The end result left me with a big smile on my face and i’m excited to leave my hair natural. I was also educated on scalp care and how to enhance my natural hair which is wavy/curly. As a client it’s a bonus to learn how to maintain the integrity of our hair. I have been going to Dee for years. I hope I never have to go anywhere else. Every detail of my appointment is personal. The team knows everything from what I take in my coffee upon arrival to my favourite aroma therapy scents I like during my hand and scalp massage that's included in every appointment. I achieve all of my hair goals without sacrificing the health of my hair. The quality of products used and the specific combination of them based on my hair type has made an amazing difference for me. It's warm, friendly and like you are spending time with friends you have known forever. Dee is also one of the most honest people you will meet. She's not afraid to make recommendations as well as explain all the steps needed to get you to your desired result. She never cuts corners and genuinely cares about her clients.

I cannot recommend Dee more for anyone who has curly hair. After suffering some hair loss due to a poor quality hair product I was using, Dee came to the rescue. She has made my curls the happiest they have EVER been. I have been to many hair stylists and I have never had happier curls. Wonderful experience at this salon. It was my first time getting my hair cut by anyone other than family in quite some time, and Sara was extremely considerate and professional. I brought my teen daughter for her 1st curly cut. She explains her experience as fun & relaxing. She said she really learned a lot about how to care & style her curls. I’ve always taken care of her curls & pride myself in knowing a bit about proper styling technique - but I’m not an expert like D. The results were absolutely stunning. Best her hair has ever looked. My faith in the salon experience has been restored, and I am so grateful! I have been on such a difficult journey with my hair for years, settling for dry cuts at budget salons by stylists that haven't truly heard or addressed my concerns.
