Excellent service from a very knowledgeable group of guys. We've gotten 5 bikes here and they're all great. Prices range from very affordable for used bikes to high-end road, mountain and electric bikes. They even sell unicycle!

I have to say very happy with the service I received from this company.

I had taken my e-bike to two other shops before arriving here. Both of the other shops told me that I needed a new motor (without even taking the time to open it up).

Nick had suggested that, that might not be the case and proposed he open it up to see if could be repaired. Which he did do, and low and behold it could be repaired! I had dropped the bike off yesterday morning and picked it up this afternoon. Not only did he repair the hub drive, but a few other jobs too. Very happy with what they charged for what the did, customer service was exactly what it showed be!!

Well done guys, keep up the good work. I will not visit any other repair shop from this point on. 👍🏻👍🏻

With the way things are now, bring a hat to stand in the sun while you wait, but you will be given attention when it is your turn. The staff are working like machines to get everyone a bike as quickly as possible!

Rather reasonably priced bikes. Atmosphere is reallly cool, it's cool enough to just walk around looking at stuff for an hour. Wow. Update: bought a bike there about a year ago and she goes.

Making the transition from driving to cycling to work, I had alot of questions! Both Ryan & Nick were very helpful in giving me the knowledge I needed to make an informed decision in selecting my new bike. I had a very positive experience and would recommend this shop to my friends and family.

A great bike shop, always a cool place to visit and chances are they have what you need. A big thank you to Eric for steering me in the right direction regarding a new derailleur compatibility issue - his suggestion allowed me to make what I already had available work in a way that I would have never thought of. I will absolutely return to Backpeddling for any future bike needs - do yourself a favour and stop in!

Great Bike Shop, Great service. Have great confidence that the mechanical requirements are done the proper way. Recently they have fixed my Rockhopper bike’s shifting problems and made some upgrades. I left feeling better than when I dropped my bike and I was surprised when the bill is little less than expected. I definitely recommend to this shop to anyone who is looking for great customer service experience and quality work done.

Just got my tire and tube replaced on my KHS and I get all my repairs done here as well.

I bought my Apollo at Backpeddling in 2016, Brandon helped me with what I was looking for and today I'm still enjoying my ride. Clayton provides great service to his shop and all the bike mechanics are great too they know what they're doing when it comes to bike repairs. Don't mind the bad reviews and don't go to Backpeddling being rude to employees they are all great, just wait and be patient when an employee is free to take care of you.
The Best Bike Shop In Town!

I needed a part I remembered from the 80s that allowed you to put a 990 brake system on a BMX with no 990 posts as the Sunday bike I bought for a great price I didn't notice had the brake posts ground off. Clayton not only had the part but knew exactly where it was stored in a cabinet amongst at least a hundred thousand old school bike parts that are throughout the store. Truly an amazing bike shop. If you need new or used parts for any bike or just want a bike you know will be warrantied properly he's the most knowledgeable and honest man in the bike industry. Forget the other places. Just go there first. You won't regret it. Especially if you like looking at old school bikes. Thanks again Clayton

Finally had a chance to visit this shop after many recommendations. Met Nick, he was super polite and knowledgeable. Took the time to show me a great khs fatbike. Was very surprised to see this shop carries Hope parts. Bought a pair 183mm rotors. Great shop, staff and selection of parts.

We picked up a bike here for my wife recently. Raj was super helpful and showed us several different bikes. He even offered to bring the bike by our house as it wouldn't fit in our car, which was amazing! Prices were competitive.

These guys are amazing. Not only do they provide great, friendly, knowledgeable service up front, but their dedication to their customers extends far beyond your initial purchase. They include a year of tune ups, and are always happy to hear from you.
For me they went over and above when my bike was stolen, helping me find an exact replacement in case I didn't get mine back, but also helping myself and the police recover my bike. Without them I never would got it back.

I was so grateful to see that Clayton and the Backpeddling team were open during this tricky retail time. I stood in line for awhile, but it was worth every minute. We have been buying our bikes and getting them repaired from Backpeddling since they opened, 20 years ago and we wouldn't go anywhere else. The custom, personalized service, quality of their product, knowledge base and their love of cycling and great customer service keeps us coming back. It's a really cool place too:) Just go.

We've bought one bike here, had several services on purchased elsewhere bikes, and purchased some accessories and cool stickers! The customer service is incredible. What I love most is the place and staff are just the coolest you'll see and meet but manage to never make me feel uncool (which is a feat because I'm not cool at all). It's all about the bikes and getting you what you need to enjoy yours. Our family's bikes are old. Never an upsell, just a "cool bike, what can we help you with"? on the way in. I cannot recommend Backpedding enough!!! Well done, folks.

Yesterday (Sunday April 13) I sent 3 emails to 3 different bike shops in Guelph. Only 1 replied and the gentleman (Clayton) offered some general information and suggested I visit the store to get a better solution to my questions. So, I went into the store Monday morning, April 14. They have more bikes in one place than I have ever seen. The salesman I spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful. So were all the other people who work there. They fitted me with a bike and had all the accessories installed on it in less than an hour. The staff were polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this bike shop to anyone without reservation.
