An iconic landmark of Guelph. Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate is extraordinarily beautiful and the architecture is something to marvel at. Located at the heart of the Royal City, it is hard to miss this majestic building. Attended a friends wedding ceremony here and it was absolutely magical. The pipe organ inside sounds incredible and everything looks truly immaculate.

Magnificent architecture in classic Roma-Catholic Churches, surrounded by gardens on the right and left, as well as Guelph Civic Museum right beside it. Doors open long before the mass starts, so anyone can come in and find their own peaceful moments.

An iconic landmark in the city, and beautifully placed atop the hill overlooking the downtown core. It's a very impressive gothic-style building on the outside but feels more modern on the inside, but is still beautiful

This Basilica is a must see attraction, for it's architectural excellence. The city of Guelph in itself is beautiful. There is the downtown near by this church. It also has gardens in front and the view of the streets from the entrance of the church is fascinating.Would highly recommend to pay a visit.

I was in Guelph for an unrelated matter and went to visit the Basilica (note I didn't buy actual tickets but only walked in and visited the public areas). It's a beautiful church, nothing to compare to french cathedrals.of course (I'm from France) but very beautiful nonetheless. I was lucky to be there a Thursday afternoon while an organist was playing. It was amazing... I would love to go back to attend an actual organ concert if I get a chance.

Such an incredible piece of classic architectural wonder. From the incredible limestone to the Christian stained glass windows, this place is a sight to behold. Inside the church, its splendor is breath-taking.
I was here setting up for a wedding with #blackpinefloral and her gigantic floral arrangements seemed so small when placed near and behind the altar.

Your environment has a great deal on your being. Visit Basilica is a special Divine space where all your senses are affected in the highest good. Beautiful energy. A stunning site to visit.

From ages 3. 7. 12. 14 all were excited and impressed as well as the rest of us adults. Dropped by on Canada Day and was surprised to see the door open. Going in made to read the sign to enjoy looking around and taking photos but also asking us to be respectful by being quiet, removing our hats and not bringing in drinks or food. Fair. The stain glass was a treat as well aa the interior architecture which was impressive as the outside. My 14 year old daughter was in awe. Very nice church indeed. I wanted to break out into verse of Holy Holy Holy lol.
It was a beautiful stop and a memorable one which cost us nothing.

One of the most impressive churches I have ever been too. A must visit when visiting Guelph. Got lucky and the organ was being played. Make sure you look up and see the impressive pipes. What a gem.

Visited on a rainy sunday. The church is breathtaking inside and out. Lots of parking spaces. Seating capacity is good. Great place for attending mass in Guelph or nearby areas.

Apparently, there are supposed to be spires that were removed due to safety concerns. Overall, the church is still breathtaking.

Cathedral is, like, really impressive. You walk out and, boom, there's this big old building staring back at you. The walls are all fancy with carvings and stuff—like, really old-school craftsmanship.

You can sit on these old stones and feel like you're in, I dunno, a history book or something.

Overall, St. Cecilia's Cathedral's outside is worth a look if you're into old buildings and stuff. It's got that classic church vibe going on, and yeah, it's pretty cool.

A beautiful church, grand and imposing. We attended a wonderful organ concert by Ukrainian virtuoso Dariia Lytvishko.

A lovely quiet place.
Went there couple of times but saw it closely for the first time today.
Haven’t visited inside so can’t speak about it.

This Roman Catholic Basilica is built on the highest point in Guelph and gives you a great view of the surrounding area. The architecture is stunning with intricate carvings and two imposing towers on the outside.

Inside you'll find a very peaceful space with a very high ceiling and stained glass depicting many religions scenes. I'm not sure if the public is allowed up into the towers but I'm sure the views would be spectacular!

This is a sanctuary. Peaceful, and the organ is vibrational. Come in, be healed.

When we went there, there was a wedding tho, so we weren't able to go inside and infront of it so we had to stay aside. Luckily, it's beside the Civic Museum and Garden of Grace

Basilica of our Lady has been one of the most beautiful cathedrals that I ever seen in Ontario just the history behind it gives off a amazing look and view we last came here in 2021 to check it out during the summer months amazing just amazing!
