Hometown Sports and Apparel

I went into Hometown Sports thinking my trapper needed to be re-laced. Turns out it was a quick fix and the boys had me on my way in about 10-minutes. They refused my offer to compensate them for their time and help. I really appreciated the gesture and their help.

Got my hockey shirts from there for our Ball Hockey team and they were very easy to deal with. I think this store is going to do very well in Guelph. They have a good group of guys who genuinely want to help you out. It's a very clean store with great high end products and fair prices. Our shirts were better then the last supplier for less money! By the way plenty of parking too!

The Hometown Sports & Apparel team is fantastic! The managers are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about hockey, lacrosse, baseball and their apparel. They have a great staff that is experienced in each sport and give an awesome experience. Mac made my life a breeze! Efficient, cost effective and exactly what I was looking for. Originally I thought sportchek would be my best option but they were awful. I wanted to speak specifically about their lacrosse selection. I was in the city and saw they had lacrosse equipment. I was very surprised at their selection of heads, helmets, shoes/cleats, etc. It was much better than the gear you would see at a big box sports store. I thought the prices were fair considering they had a lot of top brands in their store.

Great neighbourhood hockey shop. Has everything you need and a great pro shop to sharpen your skates for the next game. Manager Mac is awesome to deal with. They have lacrosse, baseball, running gear, etc., too.

Great service each and every time I get my son's skates sharpened. Never a long wait and they even made a minor repair at no cost.

Hit a little hiccup with a order we placed, and mistakes happen. They didn't take a sorry there is nothing we can do about it attitude and went above and beyond to make it right. This is the kind of service you will never get from a box store. Shop Local its so worth it.
