I went to uptown Dental because I was in extreme pain due to a cavity and I can honestly say it was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist, the staff are friendly and always smiling, they crack jokes while still remaining professional! I had the tooth extracted by Dr Wright and i have to say hes one of the coolest dentists, he is knowledgeable, funny and most importantly he as gentle as he can be and honestly seems like he cares about his patients! I highly recommend uptown to anyone who needs dental care!

I've had nothing but great experiences for myself, my wife, and also my children who have been coming to Uptown Dental their whole lives.
The whole staff make you feel comfortable and you are always treated as a friend.

I just had my final checkup after dental surgery and all is great. I have been visiting here for just over 30 years and have always been immensely satisfied with the work done and the preventative advice counselled. I would highly recommend Uptown Guelph Dental to everyone.

I only came here for an Invisalign consultation, and they seem to be a pretty good clinic! I came on a busy Friday afternoon, and even then, the staff were organized and welcoming. The hygienist also did pretty good, she did the 3D scan and took pictures of my teeth for the insurance pre-determination. The dentist, Dr. Medhat also took a couple of minutes to check my teeth and gums and gave an estimate and some explanation of the cost (Their maximum cost is ~$6,000, but it is likely they have an offer going on). You should call and check if they have any offers. The pricing seems fair, but definitely shop around and do your homework before spending a large sum of money. The receptionists are so friendly and welcoming, one of them complimented my outfit! The office is also nice, modern, and clean. I probably only waited 5-10 minutes to be let in after I filled the medical/dental history form. They do direct billing for insurance, and they sent a predetermination for me as well. Overall, they seem great. My only experience with them is 1 Invisalign consultation and a bunch of phone calls after that. The Invisalign coordinator, Liz, is very kind and understanding. I didn't sign with them, but I definitely recommend you consider them as an option.

I can't describe how amazing this dentistry is. They are experienced, friendly, respectful and understanding to scenarios, and they allow ODSP recipients while most dentists don't.

I came here a year ago for a root canal, the procedure was fast, painless, and professional.

The place is clean and has a good architecture. Makes you feel you're waiting in luxury almost.

I EXTREMELY recommend this dentistry.

I've been fortunate of having Dr. Wright as my dentist for many years.
He takes his time explaining work required and options available before any procedure is done.

I recently had a dental implant procedure. They've provided highest quality of service and the result was fantastic. The implant has a natural look and gives you that smile confidence.

Today I enjoy my overall oral health. Thanks to my awesome dental hygienist 'Kelly'. She's provided valuable information to maintain and achieve overall good oral health.

Dr. Wayne Wright at Uptown Dental in Guelph is awesome. Even when I moved to Waterloo, I kept him as my dentist --- it was and is worth the drive. I trust him 100% to take care of my teeth. He has been my dentist for quite a few years and I continue to receive excellent care. Dr. Wright keeps up-to-date with all of the latest technology.

He is very professional, concerned about your dental care, takes the time to listen to your concerns, but he also has a kind personality making you feel comfortable during your visit. Sometimes a visit to a dentist can be stressful, but you can relax and know that you will be well cared for with Dr. Wright.

I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone regardless if the patient is very young (he has lots of patience) or if you are older.

I have been treated by Dr Wright for 30+ years. Wayne has gone above and beyond when it comes to caring and complete dental care. He is on top of his game and is continually learning and ensuring his treatment is current and modern. He is a perfectionist who will not undergo a treatment without being ready and prepared. His associates work well with his expectancy of the best team work that gets everyone the treatment they require.

From the time you go in the door the team is ready with a smile and a kind word.

I have never been a fan of dental appointments...EVER. But I will say that I have never missed an appointment and actually showed up a day early one time.

Dr. Medhat gave me the best dental exam I have ever had. He and his assistant were calm and professional and I completely understood what I needed to do to maintain the health of my teeth and gums. The three hygienists whom my daughters and I saw were fantastic. We will definitely be recommending Uptown Guelph Dental to anyone in need of a dentist!

I always have the best experience at this dental office! I have been going here my whole life and I always leave satisfied with my experience at this office. I have had Jenessa and Accrasia as my hygienists and they are both amazing. They both are so professional, knowledgable, friendly and energetic. They talk to me throughout my cleaning and explaining what will be done during my appointment. I love how informative they are regarding maintaining good oral health and for the procedures being done for my appointment. The hygienists really both make my visit so fun by the way they talk throughout the cleaning and their positive energy. I am recommended to come every 6 months for my cleaning but with the excellent services I receive from them, I have changed my cleaning appointment visits to every 3/4 months so I can see them more often. Thank you so much to both of them for making my visits so amazing and keeping me happy throughout my appointments.

Dr. Medhat is an excellent doctor. I had recently got my wisdom teeth extracted with him before the COVID-19 lockdown with his assistant Nelly helping. I was very anxious and they both did such a good job in comforting me and giving me a blanket to stop my body from shaking. At one point, the assistant held my hand to comfort me from the nervousness I had. The doctor also asked me if I was ok throughout the surgery. Both of them went beyond and made sure I was ok throughout the surgery which made me very happy with my experience.

I highly recommend Uptown Dental, best dental office ever! All of the staff are very knowledgable and caring. I always leave happy with all of my visits and look forward to my next. Thank you so much Uptown for all the great work you do. Also a big thank you to the front desk receptionists on being able to accommodate me through my schedule and chatting with me while I would wait for my cleaning appointment.

Extremely happy with Uptown Guelph Dental. Just recently had major work done that i was told by other professional and great dentist would be extremely difficult to have done.

Excellent Service. Professional Doctors, nurses and staff. Uptown Guelph Dental has impressed us in dealing with kids. I have taken my daughter (6 yrs old) to many dentists in Guelph, ON but they weren't able to handle her teeth. Its an excellent option if parents are worried about sleep dentistry. Dr Wayne Wright at Uptown Dental in Guelph is amazing. He is an exceptional dentist. He has helped me for a number of years and i now have an awesome smile - didnt smile alot before meeting with Dr Wright. I would highly recommend him to everyone - he has so much knowledge and everyone can benefit from that . He is always going to conferences to keep up with the new technology - have never felt comfortable in a dentist's office before coming to Dr Wright - he cares and that really shows. I do not know any other dentists in this office but when you see them they are not very welcoming - i had a check up with Kelly (she is great!)and one of the other dentists came in to check my teeth cause Dr Wright was not there - he never introduced himself and i was not impressed

Monica is the most amazing dental hygienist I have ever experienced. She was gentle, thorough, efficient and not to mention very professional. She had actually reviewed my file before my appointment and was familiar with information provided in previous visits to the office. The dentists office is one of my least favourite places to visit, but Monica made it more enjoyable than I've ever experienced before! Thanks Monica :)
