It’s an exceptional privilege for my son to have his football coach as his dentist. Dr Ruparelia is very professional, with an amazing team, a friendly office, the girls are very patient and friendly. English is my second language and communication has always been my main concern, and I trust the doctor the same way I trust him with my child on the field. I've been with Dr. Ruparelia for over 20 years now with visits every 6 months. Every experience has been a good one. The staff is friendly and Dr. Rup is fantastic. He has always been friendly and courteous. It's just like with a mechanic - when you find one you trust you stick with them and I've done that and never regretted it. I don't know where some of these other comment are coming from but if you're reading this then I suggest you take them with a grain of salt because I've been there for a long time and never encountered something like that, nor heard of it.

I have been seeing Dr Rup for many years now. I have been to many dentist in that/my time. I really like the team. They have always looked after me very well. Dentist visits can be tough. Today my three children had their visit with Dr. Rup, Sarah Beth and Joanna. As usual it was wonderful and their pandemic protocols are fantastic. My 5 year old came out and said she loves the dentist and wants to go every single day! Thank you!!

I was spoken to very rudely today at my appointment when I was requesting a written breakdown of tray and lab costs for Invisalign. Dr. Ruparelia verbally explained what the costs were and appeared frustrated that I had requested for his receptionist to send me an email with a clear breakdown (e.g. what Invisalign charges the dental office, and what I pay as a patient to the dental office). He asked “Does this make sense?” and when I was apprehensive and asked for a clear written breakdown, he condescendingly stated to me “Why would the receptionist need to send you a breakdown of those fees when I’ve just explained it and when it's the single cost ($5400) for you?” The answer is quite simple: I would like to have it for my records. I stated that I wanted to ensure I understand it and he defeatedly asked me to speak to the front desk.

As a student and young professional, I do not have a lot of extra cash flowing around and with any purchase into the 1000s, I like to have a paper trail for exactly where my money it is going, including how much the dental office is profiting off of the original cost. I was also not offered any information on a payment plan options by Dr. Ruparelia for the 36 weeks it would take for my Invisalign treatment. All of this information should be transparently presented clearly and concisely in a format that works for their diverse clientele with varying needs. For example, it would be simple to create an informational PDF for their clients, so that we, as consumers of their services, are knowledgeable and informed about where the cost is going and how the process works. Dr. Ruparelia was not even 100% sure on the cost of Invisalign to his dental office (“I think around $2000") or how much his own dental office would charge for the treatment in total.

I am neurodivergent and do not remember dates or numbers very well, and I prefer to have costs and numbers sent to me via email so that I may refer back to it if the need arises. This is how I best process information. I am very disappointed at the lack of courtesy shown by Dr. Ruparelia. I’m not sure if he is simply having a bad day, is frustrated at having to repeat this information or angry that I have sought a second opinion on cost, but it is not acceptable to condescend upon and make clientele feel stupid for asking for information to be clearly communicated in ways that accessible and traceable. I was treated much better at Uptown Dental and quoted at a lower price. I have asked the office to remove me as a patient.

Absolute worst dental experience of my life! Dr. Ruparelia replaced a filling for me and my tooth was sensitive for months. One day I felt a crunching sensation in my tooth while eating, it became so sensitive I couldn’t even drink water without being in pain. When I called to have this filling checked on they told me I would have to wait a week. I ended up going to a different dentist who was able to have an emergency exam the following day. She showed me an x-ray of my tooth - THERE WAS A BUBBLE IN MY FILLING!! As it turns out that crunching sensation was the filling crumbling on the inside.

I would never recommend this place to anyone ever.

This guy is a joke. RUN…almost lost my teeth because of the inattention of this practice. I was lucky. Do not go to him, seriously….
