Great guitar shop. Just started working in Guelph and brought in my old guitar to get fixed up and now it sounds fantastic! Really good selection of gear and very reasonable prices as well! Will be back for sure.

They gave me a fair trade price and am very happy with the new guitar!
Also bought a couple pedals and Daren was a great help deciding which ones to buy!

I was very pleased to find that Guelph Music stocks potentiometers, and they even had Fender genuine parts (in this case a CTS pot). Well priced, included a drop cap and I didn't need to go the online/shipped route with Stewmac. Staff are always a pleasure to talk to and very helpful.

I was looking for a simple guitar tuner and the guy there shared my same opinion of the ones with multiple modes. I found something good and saw how it displayed. Friendly service and the store is on a rather quaint and interesting street.

Found a pedal I had been looking for on their website. I called the store and they were very helpful, worked within my budget and shipped it out to me. Pedal was being sold as "used" but arrived in mint condition and I got it for a great price. Very happy with their customer service over the phone and shipped quickly.

They are so good with kids, my son loves his Drums lessons.

We are lucky to have Guelph Music in the community to provide a friendly, reasonably priced alternative to the often dissatisfying Long and McQuade. I have purchased several things from this exceptional local business and have always been happy with the quality of service provided. I am impressed by their turnaround time in regards to setting up instruments, especially because finding a store that can complete this service efficiently has been a long standing problem for me. Well, not anymore. It's nice to have a reliable local music store that I can trust with all my guitar-related needs.

Extremely impressed with the service at Guelph Music! They are always very friendly, helpful and professional. I took 2 of my guitars to their location for set-ups and they had them finished in one day, both times. I will definitely continue bringing my instruments to this store and will be shopping here for all my musical needs.

Just purchased a beautiful used Gibson Les Paul custom from this store. The staff were extremely accommodating, opening up the guitar so I could check out the wiring. Very personable guys who didn’t mind helping out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a small town service classic music store feel. Have been Dealing with Guelph Music for years since Ron owned the store and still continue my business with Darrin the New Store Owner. I previously purchased a Seagull Acoustic Guitar their and couldn't be more impressed by a not very expensive instrument. In saying that Darell was more than Happy to give me a great deal on guitar and case. I found out also by my son that a gentleman by the name of Paul does the repairs on guitars brought in by customers. Paul is an older gentleman with years of experience and I needed someone I could trust to set up 1 of my strats and to do some work on my Beloved 71 Telecaster. Well I got my Strat back thanks. Topaul my guitar was great can't wait to see approx next week when I get my tele back from repairs how it will some. Great job guys. Love the work u do and the commitment to all guitar players alike. I decided to purchase a Breedlove Concertina guitar. Discovered that Guelph Music had the one I was interested in. I sent an email and Darren let me know they were about to have a sale. He answered questions about the guitar and gave me a great deal on an incredible guitar and hardshell case. I live in London, Ontario and will definitely come back for new purchases. Product shipped quickly. Guitar is set up wonderfully and is smooth to play.

I came in to look at guitars for my son. We arrived to the owner and an employee using some instruments. They quickly stopped to greet us and offered their assistance.
We were offered help and advice on an appropriate guitar for my son to learn on.
We walked out with honest advice and great service.
If/when I need any other instruments I will be coming back.

I essentially grew up with Jesse and Darren in Guelph Music. They've helped me with everything technical from my pedal board, to my latest guitar that I bought off them a few years back (a Mexican Fender Stratocaster). It has since then put me through school in Mohawk and that thing been through a lot since I first got it. But it takes abuse better than anything I've had. Speaking of versatility, the amount of pedals available have more than once made their way onto my pedal board and have remained there since I started my build over two years ago. Highly recommend their services.

I always feel welcomed when I go to Guelph music. They are very informed on their craft and very well stocked with some really cool merchandise. I have a great relationship with the guys and they allow me to get some proper jams in on the excellent selection of electric and acoustic guitars. I recommend Guelph music when ever I'm able to. In fact I'm going there right now for new strings. Guelph music is best bro, seriously, best bro!

The team is welcoming, friendly, answers your questions and the people are willing to go beyond to help the customers (e.g. they offered to deliver the instrument on their own time for free as it could fit in the car I had, even though I am living 15min North of Guelph). I am also happy to support local businesses like this one.

I needed a somewhat obscure musical tool, the the big chain shop was no help, but Guelph Music staff knew exactly what I needed and the price was more than reasonable. I'll call here next for future needs, thank you! Highly recommended
