Darryl is a fantastic teacher. I've been learning piano for many years with many different teachers but his talent really stands out. Darryl is able to communicate the art of piano practice with a level of detail and clarity that you don't often find. Darryl is clearly highly committed to his craft. His studio is tidy and inviting and he shows a true passion for what he does. Highly recommend!

Darryl is an amazing piano teacher and our son loves going to lessons. Darryl has taken our son through to Grade 10 RCM. With other teachers, one of our children suffered with hand and arm injuries that the teachers did not know how to help with, and had to stop advancing. Darryl was recommended to us as we searched for a teacher with knowledge and skills of piano technique that avoids injuries, and he has exceeded our expectations and hopes. He is very patient, and is highly skilled in teaching both technique and musicality. His love of music has inspired our son to play beautiful music beautifully.

You will be comfortable here, whatever your level. Darryl is a dedicated, empathic teacher with a desire to help each individual with their goals within a friendly and collaborative environment. He is not only a highly skilled pianist, but also has extensive knowledge on how to play without causing stress injuries to the body. Darryl will go the extra mile for a student who is motivated and hardworking. He has a good sense of humour and likes to create opportunities for his students to experience performing. Most importantly, he likes chocolate ....(bring some to share if you haven't had time to practice!!!)

I’ve been studying with Darryl since before the pandemic. As someone who took up piano well into his ‘elder’ years, I can attest to his patience and teaching skills. Darryl and I have explored, of course, the basics, but also jazz and what the RCM has on offer. Yes, Darryl is a highly accomplished teacher, but more importantly he’s a mentor who keeps the ‘magic’ of learning the piano fresh and inviting. My Tuesdays are better days because that’s when I have my lessons with Darryl. I can’t speak for 7 year olds, but as a 70+ year old, I highly recommend Mr. Cremasco.

Darryl is a fantastic teacher! He works with all age groups (including adult beginners), is flexible with in-person or virtual sessions, and has an in-depth knowledge of both theory and technique. Highly recommend!

Darrryl is a gentle, very knowledgable and patient teacher. He is very empathic and makes an effort to understand the students needs, ambitions and helps make the lessons relevant. He is a very talented musician as well as an excellent teacher.
