My experience was a good one, even though Death is a strange thing and becomes transactional while families are grieving. I just recently had to deal with making arrangements for my father and I can say that without a doubt...that Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home was not only empathetic...but they were more than helpful. They were prompt at responding to calls and emails. I consider myself very lucky to have dealt with them as I know a lot of people do not seem to have the greatest experiences with end of life preparations, because I believe that most people do not understand that there are Many things out of the control of the funeral home- as they need to abide by government regulations. My advice to people is to be patient.

Over the years my family has used MacIntyre Gilbert & Son. They have always been so comforting throughout my worst days. Years after a death I could go there and need another death certificate. Because you know businesses, years after the fact they come back with we need another document of proof of the death. I can go there and before I can say my name I’m greeted with how are you Miss Wellhauser. And any documents I needed they print off immediately with no charge. And they also say as I’m leaving if there is anything else we can do for you please do not hesitate to contact us.

The staff and service was top notch! Can’t thank everyone enough for the professionalism and attention to detail.

It is my hope that families who utilize this funeral parlour never have any problems or reasons to complain about their experience, because if that is the case, they will receive nothing in the way of an apology.
