Sensei Roberto is extremely passionate about the Art form that he has studied for decades. He continues to stay close to his roots by traveling to Okinawa, attending seminars when Grand Senseis visit our country and this makes us happy to know that a pureist is running the club.
Self defense, Selfesteem building, exercise, Katas, weapons are taught, so there's a little something for everyone. Keep up the good work Sensei, your Dojo is definitely a gem in the Royal City!

Our experience with Royal City Gojyu is very positive. Our son has been taking classes for 4 years. Roberto is an excellent teacher who shows care for the well being and progress of his students. The senior students are enthusiastic and create an atmosphere of energy while students learn in class. Royal City is a family group and members spend time with one another in organized events and outside the dojo. We highly recommend Royal City Gojyu.

Royal City Karate is a excellent place to train and learn the art of Karate. Sensei Roberto offers a fun, family atmosphere while maintaining a focused and disciplined approach. Having tried other martial arts in the past, Royal City Karate gives me a well rounded class with lots of room to train, grow and advance.

Roberto is an amazing instructor. He works hard to teach the kids and doesn't just hand out belts. He engages this in learning the art form and gets them to work hard for it. My son has gone to another karate school before and even though this one is harder, he likes it more because he feels like he is really learning something cool.

Sensei Roberto is absolutely fantastic with his students. He masterfully maintains the attention and focus of even the most energetic youngster, keeps attentive ones engaged, and demonstrates patience, leaderhship and respect amongst all students.

My spouse goes to Gojyu. It's a safe healthy environment, that isn't too stuffy. Fees are reasonable and it's a good alternative to an unstructured gym environment or a costly personal trainer. Good atmosphere and the other students are friendly. Great way to meet people.

I have been attending this dojo for a few months and I always have a good laugh and a good sweat when I go. The Sensei is an amazing teacher who creates a warm and inviting environment where anyone from any skill level and age can learn.

Roberto sensei has been a positive role model for me in my Karate journey. He's engaging and enthusiastic when teaching. I highly recommend his dojo.
