Despite downtown Guelph's terrible parking situation, the Baker Street Parking Lot certainly makes things a lot more convenient. This is perhaps one of only two convenient places to park in the downtown core of the city and I have found there is always space to fit my vehicle, even during the busier times. The availability of this large lot is a great addition to the area and makes any dining or nightlife experience far more comfortable.

Easy self parking, some pay stations don’t work or cash only.

Lots of convenient parking, all but one parking meter was out of order. The one that was working was acting up and the line for a ticket was at least seven people deep. They are also far apart from each other so you don’t know it’s out of order until you get there. Now, it did look like they were installing a “pay at the gate” type system so this review might need to change.

It's a surface parking lot. It would've been nice had the parking contractor or the city had the forethought to put the payment machines in a bus-shelter like thing. It always seems to be pouring rain when I end up in that lot. Maybe the new systems are up and running and better - haven't been for a while.

Convenient to downtown, for Storm games etc. Don't leave anything valuable visible on the seats or really just don't leave anything of value in the car and have an alarm. I have seen an attendant lately. But I have also (earlier) seen addicts going car to car trying each door handle.

Their should be automatic payment options when entering or leaving,why do i have to get out of my car,pay,then go back and place the receipt on my dash??
