I needed a mega clean up of a bike that I had abandoned outside since last winter. In half a day, they had fixed it all up and got it running better than it ever has. The price was 100$, in the budget I had given myself, so I was super happy and will be going back.

A week ago I bought some new tires here. The sidewall of the rear tire tore while I was riding today due to a manufacturing error, so I brought my bike in to show the staff. They completely understood and installed a new one for free!

I got two punctures in the space of 100m and had only the one spare tube on me and no repair kit. I remembered that this shop had been recommended by a friend and was only a few blocks south of where I stood frustratedly looking at my bike.

Very prompt service, very friendly and all sorted at a good price. I felt so happy with the place that I booked my other bike in for a service later this week.

I have been using this shop for over 5 years for my high end mountain bike. All of the mechanics and the owner are terrific and friendly people. Great mechanics on ALL types of bikes. There is a continual flow of people walking in to the shop looking for minor repairs. Most are served within minutes. I have witnessed the owner doing quick repairs at no cost. Amazing community store. My experience is that no shop is perfect in diagnosing a problem but these guys will work on it until they get it right. The charges are always fair. You will never be ripped off.

Rented a bike from them to check out the city, and got a perfectly good bike at a very reasonable price, which included helmet and lock. The in-store service was great, and when I accidentally lost the bike lock key, they didn't want any compensation for the key. I'd recommend this bike shop

A very friendly bunch. Low expectations after reading the reviews... but I sincerely don't know what they were about. The service was great, got an amazing deal for my bike. I told them my budget, they went in the back and got me a bike that wasn't even announced in the store. All in all saved about 750$ on the MSRP of that bike, never knew I could afford such a machine.
I do recommend them greatly, shame others had bad experiences.

My favorite bike shop in the city. I've always gotten good service and fair prices. They have often waived installation charges for simple fixes or repairs when purchasing a part. Most bike shops always charge you a little extra!

Wonderful bike shop. They rented us 2 bikes for a good price. Bikes were in great condition, the guys at the shop were polite; everything went smoothly with no issues. This is what I like. I just want to ride without any drama. This was it! Can't wait to go back to Montreal and ride. I will definitely come back to this shop. Thank you.

Loyal to this shop, they service old and new, the owner is a badass, and they prioritize small repairs and flats which is nice. Pricing is stellar for repairs and if you pay cash they give you a better deal. Some of the parts like locks and such are upmarked but that's normal. They have a bike wash! Super cool. Will miss this place when I move.

I went to the shop 2 days ago because my bike has been hit during the night by a snow machine.
The people there were great. They made an approximation of the cost (it was 2/3 of what an other shop wanted) and told me that they will call me if the fork is damaged (it would be more expensive) but they had to open it to check.

They called me 2 hours later to tell me that the bike was fixed, the fork had no problem and that I could come and pick it up.

They made a complete and clear bill so I could send it to the city.

I have been to this shop about 6 times in the last 2 years and they are always great and have good deals.

I find that it's the best bike shop I have been in Montreal

I've used them to get tune ups and repairs many times over the years, they do good work. I take second hand bikes I've gotten elsewhere there to put nice road ready polishes on them, and my wife picked up a great new touring bike there a couple years ago. They stock some cheap options and the top of the line, and charge fair prices. They will tell you what they think is best but don't hard sell you stuff you don't need. If you need a shop in the area or near by Grand cycle would be my first recommendation.

Great service. Staff is very friendly. I always recommend that place to everyone in town. They always do great job on my bikes with fair price. Place like that are getting rare.

Stood in a fairly long line and it got cleared super quickly, they know their stuff and got me products that are reliable yet affordable. Bless their souls for eternities.

Since its Covid I highly recommend you know what you want to buy in advance so that they can keep moving fast and service everyone.

The shop also looks quirky if you like that sort of thing, it looks interesting. I didnt have to take any photos, their website has 1 photo that shows you the store. Its not as large but it sure looks better in person.

Great prices, great service. Always go here whenever I need anything done to my bike, the owner is very helpful and often adds in some freebies to help me solve my problems. Highly recommend.

I went to every other bike shop in the area and didn't have much luck. I wasn't super sure what I wanted/needed and the guy here very patiently talked me through the different bikes. I had great service and they fixed my flat for free a month later :)

I had an opposite experience with the owner. He was very friendly and helpful despite the shop being busy. Just wanted to buy a used bike (with new parts) and a lock, and he knocked down the ticket price significantly without even asking. Very good experience overall.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, at least the guy who helped me. He took his time to explain to me what my bike needs and how he will time my bike. I recommend the services of Le Grand Cycle.
