Looked all over the city for an Orange amp and couldn't find one, found this place and had the best staff service. Way better then Steve's music, I was actually ignored at that place. I will always tell my musician friends about this place.

Beautiful store. 3 levels of cool stuff. Book and gaming (board games and such) on one floor, instruments on the next level and cd's/vinyls on 3rd. Could've spent a whole day in there just browsing.

Worker helped me find some kinda niche CDs and was super nice. Didn't have them in stock unfortunately but they proposed to order them in which was super nice but I was just visiting Montréal for the weekend. Eventually found one I was looking for. They have a lot of options and a lot of varied languages which was super appreciated. Will definitely visit again when I come back!

Excellent selection of musical scores and a comprehensive selection of pianos. I was extremely satisfied by the salesperson in the piano department. The delivery and assembly of my Yamaha digital piano was professionally done.

I went here last winter for a case for a little bass. The clerks that helped me were wonderful. They let me use their measuring tape, and I was even allowed to see how their other short-scale basses fit.

It was such a nice experience that I was even able to wander off to try the other instruments for a bit. I'd have walked home with a bass ukulele if I had the cash to spare. Heck, I still might in a few months.

Benjamin was extremely patient and attentive in helping me choose the right piano for me after years on hiatus. Expect some knowledgable service for a purchase as big as that! Also there's a great selection of sheet music, fun stationery, and books and other trinkets to enjoy here. Love dropping in here when I get a chance!

Good prices. Friendly staff and greetings. Nearly every musical instrument and studio electronic you can think of. CDs, DVDs, books...need I say more? Also, I was able to use my First Nations tax exemption card, without hassle, when buying my electric guitar. \m/

If this shop didn't exist, someone would have to make it. It seems musical instruments, books, and board games. Unfortunately (but as expected) most things are in French, but great combination of products.

Fantastic place for books and music! I found there the Arsene Lupin books from my childhood! I can't wait to go back there again! My son assures me that guitar and bass players can also find there everything they need.

My favourite music store in Montreal. There's a variety of instruments and prices are the same as elsewhere in town. They have some recording studio equipment, but if you are looking for something specific you might not be able to find it at Archambault. All in all, a great store with friendly staff and plenty of instruments.

Bought my acoustic guitar from here. Great place for beginner's music equipment. Although they do have a professional line up as well!

The last remaining chain still selling CD's in Montreal, and I still love to visit here just to browse. Perhaps it's considered old fashioned nowadays (and I'm in no way old myself) but I've loved just browsing and perhaps coming across a previously unknown but apparently interesting CD to pick up and try something new to listen too.

This place is IT when it comes to music. It has everything for the music lover and musician: sheet music, CDs, vinyls, instruments. The store is huge and staff are very helpful. I try to visit whenever I am in Montreal.

I could spend the whole day in this store! There are lots of musical instruments, sheet music, pro audio equipment and all. If you are a music lover you will definitely enjoy it.

3 stories tall and has every music related thing you need. Large variety, well stocked. Knowledgeable staff who are very willing and eager to help!

The Luthier is excellent in the guitar section. I always go here for any mods for the guitar that I want to put on. Always have a great experience going there!
