Stopped in for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. Great food. Great service.

Loved this diner. Amazingly nice staff. Ordered the lobster burger which was delicious and it came with the best potato salad I've ever had. They also had very tasty desserts.

Amazing food. I loved the atmosphere. Full of regulars. Such a joyful relaxing place to grab a bite to eat.

Stopped to fuel up our stomachs before a trip up the Cabot trail. Breakfast was delicious, the service was fantastically friendly, and I enjoyed the best egg roll of my life! This place is a must!

Absolute wonderful place. Excellent service , very friendly and the locals are quick to help find good places to see. Breakfast was wonderful. Big breakfast for only 7.95, we were full for the day. When you’re in Pictou , Sharons place is a must, breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We were on the hunt for some good fish and chips while passing by Pictou and found this gem. Portions were more than enough too!

Awesome experience.
We went with older parents as we visited Pictou. It’s small but the energy is very positive. We had a short wait but they kept us engaged. When we seated we were greeted by the friendliest server. In fact they all were friendly. We had fish and chips and one of us the clubhouse. All the meals were excellent.
When we were finished my Father in law went to the bathroom. We kidded to our server he was trying to get out of paying. For fun she slid the bill under the door. What a laugh we all had. She made our day!

Another small town diner.
Good food fresh from the freezer dropped into a deep fryer and slid onto a place with none of the overly pretentious sprinkling of parsley to cover up the skid marks on the plate.
The staff are friendly and made me feel comfortable, explained the menu to me and were patient with me being my first time there.
As a single dinner they made me feel comfortable. Unlike other places that treat single dinners as if they have the plague.
I will definitely go back if I am in the area again.

Feels like, and is run like a family restaurant. I had the breaded haddock and it was a generous, tasty portion. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Lots of parking close by.

This place felt like eating at Grandma's house!
Encouraging, upbeat signs to remind us of friends and family.
I ate the hot Turkey sandwich with gravy on top, a mound of crinkle cut fries... lots of food for a very reasonable price... but... the lemon meringue pie was awesome!

The chicken fingers for kids are huge and quality white meat. My daughter said the mashed potatoes were the best she ever had. Service was great and it was clean. Limited parking but so delicious!

Love to go here for breakfast. Great prices....great portions too. I also enjoy their fried chicken - tasty and not greasy. The service is always friendly as well. Great little spot!

Kid friendly.
Asked the lady on the ferry who said they were excellent.
They accidently made a full meal for my infant and only charged us for the kid price.
We had burgers and enjoyed them. The kid meal was a turkey dinner, which was pretty decent in itself.
The server was super nice.
Sadly, the coleslaw wasnt the best today, so the server didnt charge us for the extras we got without saying anything.
Will definitely go back when in the area.

From what I hear their pies are delicious and I loved the meatloaf dinner and my partner was impressed by the club sandwich!!

Delicious fish and chips are my favorite food at Sharons, it is not greasy, thin batter on fish, just so yummy and home made pies are so yummy. A very friendly owner and staff there as well. I love eating there and within covid rules . My # 1 place to eat. ❤

An amazing place for great food and a real feeling of pictou spirit. I would recommend anyone friend or not to come and visit. 25 dollars fills two stomachs with a good meal. And their fish is always fresh.

A little embarrassing. I was in Pictou for less than 24 hours and drove to eat all 3 meals here - and I’m not that kind of girl. If you are a tourist beat a hasty path here. The food is homey and fresh and delicious and the patrons are all local, as far as I could tell, and friendly. Sit at the counter. I hated to leave. So I kept going back. Staff darling as well.
