Britannia Brewing Ladner

Where do I begin? I was having a craving for fish and chips. I found the Britannia Brewing right across the street from my location. I walked into an inviting trendy at Chic restaurant. I was met by a lovely lady and taken to a table. I'm not someone who likes to try new things and when I notice the fish and chips wasn't the typical fish and chips I was skeptical. I spoke to my waitress and she explained the dish in detail. She knows her menu. Well. I found the staff to be dressed in comfortable yet professional manner making the place feel very relaxed and inviting. I did order the fish and chips and they were the best I've ever had. The batter was not thick and over breaded nor was it greasy. The flavor was delicious! They gave me two large pieces and french fries. I love the homemade tartar sauce. I ordered a pop as well and they even brought a slice of lime in there which I thought was a nice touch. I'm especially impressed with the fact that they have three bathrooms. One is wheelchair accessible tastefully decorated. In fact the whole restaurant is tastefully decorated! I will not hesitate to go back in order to recommend this to as many people that are willing to listen.

Best try this one before the lineups start. Enjoyed all four choices on our beer flight. The burger from Twin River's was terrific as was the salad with sockeye. Just a great place.

Haven't had a chance to try the beers yet, but the food here is excellent. Each dish we tried were distinct and well-executed. Though a tad expensive, I would order the duck wings again.

Nice find in Ladner Village. Great atmosphere and friendly service. The food was very good. Beer 🍺 for sure.

Great place for pub/bar style food with some mexican and other inspo, the staff is fantastic, the place is so clean and chill, the patio is nice and the service was great!, the restrooms clean and the food was delicious, specially the corn, if you are looking a relax vibe, drinks and good food in this area, this place is perfect!

Took 91year old parents in for dinner. We had heard it was good and what we heard was right. Fish and chips were excellent as were mussels.Churro dessert was excellent but could have used a bit more caramel sauce. Our server “short Ella” was one of best servers we’ve had in a long while and we come from food service industry. She is a star!!!

Father's Day lunch was amazing. Food was delicious and staff were great.

Went there for their Dine Out Vancouver and it was great! Very cute spot with great food. Wasn’t able to try the beer this time, but looking forward to it next time. Also liked the individual non gendered bathrooms.

I was so surprised buy this little gem that I had always overlooked. It's at a very Central and easy In-N-Out location in Ladner. It's very open, with lots of seating and very simple and yet classic design. Lots and lots of menu choices and great beer selection. Vista was welcoming and wonderful! I'll be back!

Great evening at our local brew place, perfect cocktails and appys was the menu choice for us. The Bourbon sour perfection, the Crispy martini lovely. It is a lively place so noise level can be loud. But fun Saturday nite atmosphere

Rode our bikes here for the soul purpose of trying out their patio. Quite nice! Dee say the margaritas are really good! I quote , “tastes like vacation “. Same vibes as Steveston but different menu.

We went for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Great food, reasonable prices and fantastic service makes it well worth the visit.

Last night (feb 10th) I came in with maybe close to 25 people for our friends birthday and let me just say everything was great! The service was top notch. Our server was excellent and on the ball! Didn’t mess up a single order or bill at the end. (I hope she sees this as I didn’t get her name) the food was incredible, drinks were great and atmosphere too. It’s hard to go out in big groups as I feel sometimes the service lacks now a days to cater to big groups but Britannia was excellent. We will be back again!!

The burger 🍔 taste fresh beef meat but for me was a little salty which I prefer less salty food

Much needed location in Ladner. Great variety of drinks and food. Well designed venue. Great service. The outdoor dining also looks very elegant and well done. Highly recommended.

Good service, tried their watermelon margarita, smashed apple with spicy rum, flank steak, veggie burger, and fish and chips.

Went there 3 weeks ago on a Sunday for a small b day dinner. Food was fantastic. However the review is not about the pub. This review is about McKenzie the server. Omg she is good. I have been in the restaurant business 40 years and I have never seen a well polished server like this. She knew the menu. Had great suggestions and her up sale skills were over the top. Usually the 5 of us get out of there with a bill of $160. That night it was $250 because she knew how to sell us the menu. Well done young lady. To the owner. As a restaurant owner to another. I would pull her aside show her this review and offer her $5 more a hour. If u don't I will come steal her from you. That's an employee you can build a team behind

Possibly the best brewery experience in the Lower Mainland? Nice to see some veggie food options outside the usual veggie burger!

The seafood chowder is one of the best I've had. The salad was delicious. I ended up taking half home. Will definitely go back.
