Went there for babys first birthday cake. They do honor a free cake for baby's first birthday and allow you to choose colour. Staff was extremely helpful and polite.

Ordered a sushi platter last minute and was told no problem. Came back 1/2 hour later and what a selection. By far the best customer service and best FRESH sushi .
This will be our go to for Sushi from now on!!!

The friendly staff at the Tsawwassen Thrifty Foods Bakery are absolutely amazing. They help create yet another beautiful cake for my daughters 26th birthday, accompanied by princess themed cup cakes. I created the collage and they masterfully applied their magic touch. We are beyond thrilled! 5 BIG STARS

Great selection aswell as quality, thriftys may be a little more expensive in some ways but with the level of quality they offer aswell as the customer service which is top notch I don't mind the extra$$, it's worth it in my opinion!!

We were looking for frozen rhubarb before Christmas when we phoned the person one the phone went and looked if they had any in stock. They were the only store we were able to find rhubarb.

Great selection of products that you don't find at other grocers and helpful staff. You pay a bit of a premium so you may want to be select about the items you choose but you will notice the difference in quality.

This grocer is a fantastic gem in the community. The quality of produce, bakery, deli, and fresh meat is extremely reliable and pricing is good.

Emma from the florist department accommodated my request today and for my co-workers for Mothers Day, by suggesting and then individually and beautifully wrapping 40 Gerbera in 45 minutes! Absolutely amazing customer service. I cannot say enough about how gorgeous the flowers look, how excited I am to give them out, and the value was terrific. Allowing me to celebrate my coworker Moms in such a beautiful way! Thank you to the flower department and to Emma!!!!

The best grocery store in town. I do almost all of my grocery shopping here. Good quality products and staff are generally very pleasant.

I love Thrifty's because of nostalgia growing up on the island and eating their food. But I do wish they had more vegan options in their kitchen and in their baking.

Clean store.friendly staff available to assist you in all departments! Found my daughters favorite spinach perogies not all store carry. Also picked up the ready made butterball turkey less than other Stores on sale. Thr bakery has a lovely selection. Again, great service. We both had a. Jocokate covered desert! We traveled from Richmond and with the new highway changes ended up in the Tsawassen area instead. Too bad there isn't a location in Richmond. Will return for sure when in the area.

Big shout-out to Archie at the Floral department this morning! My first time buying flowers, Archie was incredibly helpful and patient despite there being fewer flowers than usual. Thanks Archie!

Probably my favourite grocery store in Tsawwassen. Meridian is fantastic but a bit too pricey. Lots of sales, high quality fresh produce and beef, and a fantastic selection all-around.

I wish there was a Thrifty's in Langley. They have the best spinach pies in the deli. Better than most Greek restaurants. Great variety, well setup, and good prices!

Thrifty Foods carries specialty items throughout the entire store in every department. They have a comprehensive bakery, a full meat department, a full and complete fresh seafood selection and they carry local produce. Their inventory is sourced from our country of Canada, particularly from BC and not from offshore foreign providers. Their entire staff has always been helpful and polite.
