Gibsons Public Market

It is small but it has around 7-8 great vendors, the place is clean, has a plenty of parking space and from june 28 you can assist to the night markets!

I recently visited Gibsons Public Market and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The market is a vibrant and bustling hub that offers something for everyone. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the variety of vendors and the high quality of the products on offer.

The fresh produce section is particularly impressive, with a fantastic selection of locally-sourced fruits and vegetables. It's clear that the vendors take great pride in their offerings, and the quality is top-notch. I also enjoyed browsing the artisanal goods and unique crafts available at the market.

One of the highlights of my visit was the great food options. The market has several eateries, and I was delighted by the diverse range of delicious meals available. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a full meal, there's something to satisfy every craving.

The atmosphere at Gibsons Public Market is warm and inviting. It's a wonderful place to spend a few hours, whether you're shopping, eating, or just soaking in the lively ambiance. The staff and vendors are incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience.

Scenic, lots of goodies to look at, friendly people, can be a great touring/shopping day.

The busker had a great voice and great hair! I had run looking at these amazing sweaters that were hand made! I took a card to hopefully place an order later on

Even better than I expected. Every Shop unique and authentic to the area. Delicious food in the eatery. Plus a state of the art marine education center. Can't wait to be back!

Do yourself a favor and head to Emelle's Market Bistro for brunch.

Fresh takes on brunch faves, including the lightest, fluffiest French toast 😋 (I don't even like French toast normally but tasted some here and couldn't stop sneaking more bites).

Breakfast sandwich is loaded with goodness, and the 'side' mac and cheese is velvety and enough to be considered a main.

Loved the live music and free admission to aquarium.

We had a lovely lunch at Emelle’s Catering Market Bistro. Very good food, friendly staff, and cute fish to watch while we waited.

a place to listen to music, see art, eat or buy food of all kinds and learn about marine life, or listen to a lecture, it is the heart of Gibsons, always clean and pleasant!

I stopped by here at 9 because I'd seen a poster for an Art Show they were hosting at 9, and when I walked in someone promptly greeted me and directed me to the Art Show, informing me that the public market portion wasn't actually open yet. It was a great space for hosting the Art Show. I expected it to be a bunch of stuffy still-life paintings and photos of the marina, but the artwork was so COOL. I wanted so much of it. I ended up with a lamp from Cheryl Kehoe of Lux Assemblage that I adore; it's made out of a vintage microscope! I did make it downstairs to the merchants, but it wasn't as touristy as I expected. They sold meats, cheeses, flowers, fish, and some ready-to-eat food and coffee. I was just visiting Gibson's so I didn't partake. Cool experience, though.

Little market, great. Thought we could buy some fresh fish here, but seems like a gourmet market.

We had the good fortune of staying across the street in a cute Air B&B, so we made a few trips here. Every merchant had the highest quality of food. If you grab a coffee or a bite to eat, sit out back and watch the beautiful marina.

Gibsons so needed a place like this- A vibrant mix of local, fresh artisans and farmers joining together to create an eclectic community market. The live music is top notch too.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Service is always great and FUN. Food never disappoints. Chef Trevor is really talented.
