Pita Pit

Would absolutely recommend this location, especially for a catered event or company lunch!

From the initial phone call to the delivery, Alex made the process seamless and enjoyable. I was coming from out of town to do a presentation with lunch included for for the attendees. Alex and the Team at Pita Pit Bowmanville went above and beyond to make this simple for me.

Of course, it was also the same great food that we've come to expect from any Pit Pit!

Pita Pit has quickly risen up to become one of my favorite places to grab some quick food.

Pita Pit knows how to dispense out the veggies when they make your pita. Other sandwich/burrito/pita restaurants should take notes.

I am very impressed with how much veggie they stuff into the pitas. I'm also impressed with the veggie selection.

I have had multiple visits and tried a good number of the pitas on the menu. Chicken souvlaki, gyro meat, deli ham - all good!

The customer service is also quite good at this location. Everyone is friendly and attentive, and even when things are busy, they address me to inform me that they'll be right with me.

I'll be back in the near future for sure.

Personally it is my favorite Pita Pit to go to. The staff are always friendly as well as the manager. The food is always cooked right and the Downtown Bowmanville location makes it a better atmosphere compared to other Pita Pit's I have been to. No complaints about this place at all!

Alex and his team are awesome! My favourite Pita Pit to go to. They make them right and don’t skimp on toppings. Perfect lunch or dinner in Bowmanville.

The Bowmanville location is superb and the staff is always friendly. If they are busy and cannot take your order right away, I always get acknowledged that they will be there as soon as they can. My pitas are always delicious and filling. The owner seems to always be there and he's super friendly. I go mostly at lunch time as I work in same area, but have gone in the evenings and treated my children (their new favourite sandwiches) on the weekend and it's always a great visit. Prices are a bit high sometimes, but I'll take fresh food and great people anytime! A great spot all around!

Love love love pita pit, especially this location!!! The girls that work the front are always super nice, the guy who owns it is a sweetheart hes so down to earth, give me tons of extra sauces and veggies, if the pita falls apart even slightly they remake a new one, can’t complain at all about this location. Love my work lunches here!!

The foods amazing. I went pitapit today the management and staff seemed super friendly. I spoke to the manager he said his fridge went out on him the night before an all the produce froze n had to be thrown out. It happens but great to know everything is made fresh and not frozen

Food tasted great, way better then any of the other restaurants in bowmanville, the jalapeños bowl that I ordered was packed tight I could barely finish it. I’d definitely recommend coming here 5/5

Awesome place! I've tried many pita places and pita pit is by far the best around. Every place cooks it differently than here and the toppings are always so fresh. This location in bowmanville is also the best one I've been to. Most friendliest environment and staff ever and have never been disappointed.

Employees are always so kind in here. Was super busy but they still managed to keep track of people’s food and keep the line moving. Never had a bad meal from this pita pit location

Being new to Bowmanville, and always wanting to support local, I was so happy to find Pita Pit as a go to restaurant for those crazy days! Not only is the food amazing, the customer service is beyond anything I’ve experienced in a long time. This is truly a place that gets to know your name and values your business.

More recently, I ordered a party platter for my daughters birthday, being a single mom, planning a virtual party during a pandemic is a challenge with all of the coordinating and running around. I was floored when the owner offered to deliver my order to my home - I could’ve cried as I was trying to figure out how to coordinate all of the pick ups and drop off a that day and still make it a special day for my daughter ! This small gesture just made me a lifelong customer and has restored my faith even more that small town businesses are more than essential! They offer a level of service and care that no one can beat because it’s about community and helping those in your community succeed!!!

Great service and friendly staff. Even after I split my entire smoothie on the floor... they kindly got me another. And did not act like it was any bother to clean my mess. I was so thankful. My Dad and I enjoyed our lunch and would gladly recommend this location in Bowmanville .

We came in really close to closing time, but it was a long day and we had no food waiting at home. The two staff members had already cleaned and mopped and we felt bad going in, but hey they were technically still open! They were both so patient with us ad we decided and chose our toppings. They did not make us feel rushed or shameful for coming in so late (which some places do). They were simply doing their job, and very well. Our pita's were great and we were happy and satisfied! Wonderful service, we will be back

Just moved out here, and I’m so happy I tired this location. One of the best pitas Ive ever had . I have to say everything was fresh beyond fresh . I tried the chicken and it was amazing . You will definitely be seeing me again.

We love this Pita Pit. It is our favourite chain restaurant in town. The staff and management are friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and nutritious. Our 12 yr old girl is a regular and they always treat her like an adult. She loves it too!

The Pita Pit serves delicious pitas and offers vegetarian as well as a variety of meat choices. The staff offer friendly, courteous and prompt service. Prices are reasonable. The place is clean and there are tables to eat-in if you don't want to do take-out. We will definitely be going here regularly to eat. Thank you Pita Pit! 👍
