This is a good place to eat reminds me of when I was in Taiwan I ordered z2 and made it a combo I shared everything with my wife . They give you so much food the portion is huge and it’s so yummy it was worth the drive from Surrey. Everyone here made you feel like at home always asking if you need anything the price is reasonable. And the stinky tofu is so good if they had a place like this is Surrey I will be there often this place did not disappoint us at all. And the bubble tea is so good

The food and service is very good for an Asian style restaurant. I would even say it competes with some of the fine dining restaurants.

The price point of their main menu is a little on the higher end though and they don’t accept credit card

Fantastic, the best beef in beef noodle soup I've ever had. Parking is a nightmare, and lineup is normal. If you get lucky with the parking, it is definitely worth the wait. They have perfected their craft, and the name no. 1 beef noodle, fits the description perfectly. Try it out if you have the opportunity to do so.

During my recent visit to No. 1 Beef Noodle, I had the pleasure of trying a few dishes that truly showcased the restaurant’s attention to quality and authentic flavors. Here’s a rundown of what I experienced:

The first dish was a beautifully presented plate of clams paired with slices of sponge gourd, all nestled in a light, flavorful broth. The clams were fresh, and the subtle sweetness of the sponge gourd complemented them perfectly. The lightness of this dish made it a refreshing starter, ideal for those who enjoy delicate flavors.

I also had clams in black bean sauce. This dish had a rich, savory profile with a slight hint of heat. The black bean sauce was robust, yet it didn't overpower the natural taste of the clams. Topped with fresh green onions, this dish was a delightful contrast to the lighter first course.

Finally, I tried their beef noodle soup with pickled greens, I think it was A2. The broth was deeply flavorful, likely from hours of simmering, and had a wonderful depth that was both comforting and satisfying. The addition of pickled greens brought a tangy, slightly spicy element to the dish, balancing out the richness of the beef and broth. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the beef was tender, making each spoonful a perfect bite.

The service at No. 1 Noodle House was equally impressive. Stone, Lucy, and Lily were attentive, friendly, and made sure that every aspect of the dining experience was seamless. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they truly went out of their way to ensure we had a great meal. It’s clear that they take pride in their work, which added a personal touch to our visit.

No. 1 Beef Noodle offers a great selection of well-prepared dishes that cater to a variety of tastes. Whether you’re in the mood for something light and refreshing or rich and savory, there’s something here for everyone. The food presentation is also noteworthy, with each dish arriving at the table looking as good as it tastes. Combined with the excellent service from Stone, Lucy, and Lily, I highly recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area and craving some quality Asian cuisine.

Love this place always. Their food is super tasty, we always come for their Thai fried rice. It’s just the best in town.

The food is always top-notch and service is fast. The restaurant is really noisy though, so go earlier when there are less people.

This was a gem to find in Burnaby! Their beef noodle soup with wonton was really good for a late breakfast/early lunch. They have a variety of breakfast combos, but my friend and I opted to share this since it was pretty large.

While it was my first visit, the food, service and atmosphere is quite authentic. Will have to come again to try other dishes. Personally, I could use more than one sausage in the mixed plate, but at least the sausage was the correct balance of sweet and savory. Minced pork rice comes in multiple sizes and an option without an egg.

The food tastes yummy and the portions are bigger than we thought. We have to pack the leftovers home. The service is good too.

This is a truly hidden gem establishment in Burnaby. Great taste, affordable price, and big portion. We eat normally and usually spend around $25 for two since one menu can easily feed two people.

Been here more than enough time to know that the food tastes great! Service is usually fast except for busy hours which is to be expected and they check on you often without them feeling like they're pestering you. During rush hours however it feels like they're in such a rush to seat other customers that they send you out the bill and containers even if you're not done eating yet so if you're like me, you feel rude if you don't wrap up eating even if you're not done and leave the restaurant semi-satisfied. Not a bad thing to me since its probably so that I can just leave whenever I'm done eating and they can focus on other customers without me flagging them down for a bill or waiting around for them to bill me out but it can come off as rude to other people. The restaurant itself is a small place but homely and very cozy. A few times the restaurant has either sticky or greasy floors but not enough to give it a very icky feeling when you come in. Otherwise, the restaurant is very well kept and cleaned as often as possible.

Amazing food with amazing staff! We had a great dinner here. We ordered beef noodles, fried squid and chicken. Everything was seasoned well with perfect texture. The staff was super friendly as well. Definitely recommend.

Wow! So refreshing to find an all in one Taiwanese restaurant with all the street foods you crave from Taiwan as well as the traditional Taiwanese dishes! Eating here felt like you were whisked away to Taiwan 🇹🇼.

The menu is extensive, like a little book with many many pages in a good way. You are bound to find something you want to eat.

The Taiwanese meatball was awesome. It was covered with chewy mochi like coating and filled with juicy pork and bamboo shoots with sweet and tangy sauce almost like in Taiwan.

The Taiwanese chicken nuggets with scrambled egg and creamed corn over rice combo set that came with two side dishes and mayo dipping sauce was amazing! Not only was the taste great but the portions were huge! Wonderful in that you can pack the leftovers and have enough for another meal or just choose to happily overeat and indulge yourself.

The Taiwanese beef noodle soup broth they have is some of the best in flavour that is not too salty and very fragrant. Highly recommend any variation of the beef noodle soup they offer which also comes in a generous portion.

Last they have a vast variety of drinks comparable to a bubble tea shop. They are good and standard but not spectacular.

For the price point, the amount of food you get is great value and the food itself is authentic Taiwanese and truly delicious. A new go to for Taiwanese food.

This is always the place to go to when we are craving for Taiwanese food. The quality of food has improved so much! The order online can be a bit confusing and complicated.

They also got amazing service! We always bring our 5 yr old daughter to eat. The staffs are super nice and friendly! Even we moved to Coquitlam, my husband still gets takeouts from them at least 1 time per week!

Best beef noodles I’ve tried yet. The thin noodles are nice and chewy, I assume they are hand-pulled. Broth was delicious and the beef shank was so soft. Highly recommend trying this place for beef noodle soup.

Been coming here as a kid. Glad to revisit and see them so busy and expanding their business next door. Great comfort food, bubble tea and don’t forget to get the salt and peppery chicken!!

The parking space is limited but there are some parking spots in the strip mall.

Their food and service were great. The food reminds me of good Taiwanese food back in Taiwan. The restaurant is tidy but the waiting area at the entrance is cramped.

I would recommend this place if you miss Taiwanese snack or small sized food.
