We got the dinner for 2 and couple of other dishes.. the waiter let its swap one of the dishes out of the dinner for 2. Which made my wife and o happy they did that.. all in all the meal was very tasty.. the workers are friendly.. can’t say anything bad about the place..

This is legit your go to authentic Chinese restaurant! If you know what wok hei is, then you will get it at this restaurant! (If you don't know check out uncle roger haiya 😂) I think it's under new management. The owner works both front and back of the house. I noticed lots of takeouts (10% off pickup) I ordered several classic dishes a d they did not disappoint. I got the scrambled egg and shrimp on ho fun (flat noodles), honeymoon fried rice and deep fried tofu.

Food was good. For a small independent restaurant, the place is clean, food is tasty, service was good, and most of all reasonably priced. Another thing to note is that they didn't skimp on food portions. It is a good relief from all the low value, high-priced restaurants out there.

Had the large House War wonton soup. Soooooo yummy !! Enough for 2 meals! MSG free too. The broth was yummy as was the wontons, shrimp, pork and veggies. Will be back for sure

So delicious! Friend recommended their crispy noodles and salt/pepper items so we tried - soooooooo crispy the noodles this is no joke! The salt/pepper squid was very flavourful as well :) not too spicy if the jalepeno pepper doesn’t touch the piece (my kids could eat those pieces) fried beef noodle was authentic :) lovely place nice and clean. Perfect treat for after a walk around deer lake park :)

It's an amazing restaurant, really good food with amazing portions with affordable prices, and really friendly waiter! Really recommend at least trying this place out. The food is fresh, affordable, and is a gem.

Impressed is a understatement for the size portion Vs Price👏 we have been back several times and the new management has done a great job taking over I feel the dishes are more fresher and even better tasting well done

Best wonton soup - I go out of my way to bring some home for us! Love that there’s no shrimp due to our allergies - truely the best tasting not salty like most broths are - & great portions of everything .

We were skeptical of the restaurant at first, but the food denied all speculations; especially the fried rice because the chefs used less oil, yet it was still rich in flavor. Delicious food and friendly family owned restaurant, will definitely come again.

excellent food quality. I got the pan fried beef & rice noodle and it beats most places I have been to.. and the prices.... omg.. it is so affordable.. where can you get stuffed for $7??? I pass by this place all the time and the parking lot is usually full. I came here today at 230 and I found parking. I am definitely glad I dropped in today.. I am going to be craving this place. thanks

First time ordering from this restaurant. Prices and proportions are pretty reasonable. I ordered a shredded pork with tofu and eggplant. There are special combos at a lower price, will definitely try it next time!

I love the wonton soup and spicy ginger beef. However I’ve tried many items and there all outstanding. Fresh ingredients and huge portions.

The Deer Lake best kept secret. If you're heading to the VSO or just an evening out in the park during summer. Order your food from here and get yourself the best hot picnic food you could ask for that everyone else will be jealous of. Delicious and fresh. It's one of my fav things to do around here. The combos are amazing value and well...I come back every year and do the same thing when I am out this way.

This is an authentic chinese restaurant. The food quality is above average. The price is very reasonable considering the food portions. The food is really good. We tried the halibut and the beef vegetable dishes and they were fantastic. We will go back soon.

Small hidden gem. Good Chinese food. The fried squid with salt and hot pepper is great and the crispy chow mein dishes are great too.

Took out the dinner for 2 B. Kids loved it. Still had left over with 2 adults and 2 little kids.

Not too salty and lacks the kick of MSG but much appreciated. Generally tastes good and homey.

Wonderful restaurant and friendly staff: we got take-out. Everything is clean and orderly (1 customer at a time to carry out).

im very happy with their meatless options and I love how they have SO many combinations for people who enjoy meat and seafood. I like that they offer so many things with mushrooms.
A diverse menu.

Honestly, it’s fun to look at the menu because there’s so many unique combinations with the usual favourites. I would love to share this restaurant with a friend from out-of-town or for a family dinner or even for group where everyone could try something or have something special to them.

I really like the chowmein with soy sauce, and my parents really like the wonton soup.
They also offer catering (up to 200!) and have family dinner specials (dinner for two, dinner for eight, etc).
