Cantine La Fringale c'est Tropical

We ordered through DoorDash and it was amazing ! Smoked meat poutine and chicken poutine were loaded and still hot on delivery. Gravy was tasty and fries were cooked well. I find many places undercook the fries but they did great !

Just the small size poutine lasted me 2 meals and the large lasted my husband 2 meals too. We will definitely be back !

Delicious food and very generous portions! I really like the hamburger and the chocolate milkshakes the most. The hot dogs and fries are great too. Tons of seating available, too!

You know that scene in Ratouille? You know the one. This was that for me. Everything from the dog, to the bacon cheeseburger, to the crowning jewel: The poutine… They were all the best. The peak representation of what casse croûte classics should taste like. What’s more, the place is decorated like a tropical paradise; a true parrothead’s dream place to smash a steamé all-dress, or une p’tite molle. To put it as eloquently as possible, and to quote one of my favorite restaurant reviews of all time, this place is, all hubris and here-say aside, “Taste en criss!”

(Oh yeah, and for you Saguenay-heads out there, they even stock Red Champagne heavy, AND Red Champagne Diète!)

Great burgers and fries, but the staff is really awesome here. Very friendly and always in a good mood with lots of smiles.

Classic case crout, the food is good (about as good as it gets for snack bar food). Service is rapid and friendly. The swinging tables are a signature in my view.

Smoked meat was awesome, fries were great, hamburger was good as well. Poutine was not bad but I had better sauce, I think it was maybe too peppery.
Place looked fun and clean. Seems like a nice terrace for the summer.

Great poutine! One the best on the south shore! The cheese is fresh and squishy, fries are made with canola oil, sauce is good too. It is family friendly as well my toddler was able to eat some chicken with salad and veggies in a hotdog bread.

We stopped here on a warm day on the way home from the McGill reserve on Mont-Saint-Hilaire. It looked interesting so we stopped to get ice cream. The tables and shop were in good shape and lots of outside seating under umbrellas. Truly looks like a great place to eat but only got plain ice-cream. Looking forward to stopping sometime to get some fast food.

The food and service were both amazing. This poutine is unbelievable. First time here, drove 25 minutes from home and will do it again!! Soooo good!

The staff is incredible and the poutine is the best in the region! The atmosphere is great and there is plenty of outdoor seating.

Great place for a quick stopover for classic greasy food, as well as ice cream and beaver tails. Loads of outdoor seating with some of those tables that rock back and forth.
