Cozy restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food, also BYOB is a big perk! French onion soup was incredible.

My wife and I love French onion soup. The Creperie Au Tournesol has THE BEST onion soup we have ever had. The owners are great as well, friendly and made us feel welcomed. Make this a stop during your stay in the Laurentians.

Wonderful traditional crepes breton style served in quaint traditional Quebec country style setting. The crepe station is the focal point of the restaurant- kids love to watch the crepes being made! Delicious crepes every visit and friendly service.

Delicious. A family restaurant with ex exceptional service. I had a ham and mushroom crepe. Very filling and Delicious. Definitely going back to try a dessert crepe next time!

Lovely, consistently yummy, onion soup beyond compare, fresh ingredients with a thin perfect crepe and country atmosphere in a warm environment. Pricing is great and will absolutely be back.

Rustic style cafe with tasty crepes! We ordered a crepe to share with seafood but I would personally not recommend it. The white sauce that was inside with the seafood didn't really go well with it. The crepes itself were great tasting, i just didn't like the sauce.
But their onion soup and crepe with cheese and bacon are amazing!
It is good tasting but for a full dinner 1 crepe per person was a little bit not enough, so we ended up having 3 crepes and 1 onion soup for 2 people. Each crepe was at least 15$ so the price added up. Keep that in mind if you plan to have a full dinner there. It IS tasty but more for a large snack than a dinner.
I would return at least for that onion soup for sure! Great quality and heartwarming dish!

Yes, I have re-checked the place, this is the place we have visited. The item we ordered was "Crepe with seafood" the sauce was not mentioned in the menu. But the sauce was inside the crepe. I want to state again, overall I liked the place and the food was nice, just not the seafood crepe in my opinion :)

I can't say enough good about the food and the staff. The pride that Daniele,the owner has in her restaurant is easily visible when you come in. The restaurant is spotless. You may see her sweeping the floor to make sure that it stays spotless throughout the day. She is kind and bilingual and makes sure that everyone is comfortable and enjoying their meal. Their salad is incredible. As is their crepes and onion soup. This restaurant is worth a visit whether or not you're in the area. ENJOY!!!!Thank you to the staff......You're all excellent!

Get the onion soup, is the best thing in the menu

So tasty! Crepes are light and flavorful. Fillings are well prepared and everything is put together to create a fantasticly flavorful experience. Atmosphere and service are perfect. We stopped here on our way home from Mont Tremblant. It was a perfectly light and flavorful breakfast. With a desert crepe that was well balanced. My only regret is I didn't try the onion soup. Next time!

Amazing!!! Reservations recommended. Due to short staffing, patience is a must. Daniele is terrific. She does her outmost to keep her customers satisfied, albeit a challenge, she managed to keep us happy. The salad is fabulous, the crepes a must. We did not have the onion soup but comments around us were A1!

We ate here this past weekend. We drove by and decided that we would like to give it a try. After doubling back we were hoping to be not too disappointed. The place is not fancy but it is comfortable. It is run by an elderly couple. The staff is chatty, but nice. We started with the onion soup. It really hit the spot. We followed it up with a veggie crepe that we shared. It was great. Really worth the stop. I have to admit it was one the better onion soups I’ve had in a long while.

We’ve been customers for years and since Danielle has taken over the restaurant (just before the pandemic), she and her family have returned it to the institution it was. Merci Danielle!

This place is the best. So consistent. The staff work so hard to keep the favourites coming out of the kitchen. You cannot have a complete Laurentians experience without a meal at Tournesol. It is so important to keep supporting small businesses that care about quality and customer service. I cannot rate this place high enough.

This is the creperie of dreams! The onion soup, the salad, the savory and sweet crepes - everything is delicious! Plus the ambiance is very cute with the tree of painted goose eggs and the crepe maker pouring the crepes at a hot plate on the side of the dining room. I felt like I was in a woodsy fairytale.

I've been coming since I was a young and have yet to find better crepes, soup or salad, we make the hour drive often just to get the best breakfast often. Would highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for over 3 years. It’s a staple. The onion soup and salad is perfect. The ambiance is exactly what you want it to be while having soup and crepes.... cozy and warm. The service is great it’s a real family vibe. I would highly recommend this spot even if you have to drive over and hour to get to the restaurant it is definitely worth it.
