A massive complex of playing costs and ice rinks. Ontario Volleyball Championships were held there and it was wonderful to see so many athletes competing on a lot of courts. Easy to get lost in this maze of a building :)

A massive sports complex with all the amenities available on site. Features Ice Hockey, running track, gym areas from workout to mat facilities and some of the programs on Active Waterloo and Pickup Hub..

There is also a food court and a Library.

Unlimited hour parking available at no charge, and the parking lot is large and wheelchair accessible parking.

The building is very clean and spacious with multi areas to sit and relax.

Absolutely massive spots complex. Went here for a volleyball tournament and all on-site parking was full (even though the parking lot itself is massive). Ample off-site parking with free shuttle bus is available when on-site is maxed out though, so very well planned out to accommodate larger events like this.

Great place for both indoor and outdoor games.
Waterloo Eastside public library can also be used here..

Beautiful glass art, and huge plants in the main hall. 3 hockey rinks. An ice dance rink. A restaurant. Good refs. I was there for the hockey tournament in December. Entered the raffle, and won!!! I haven’t been to this rink since my daughter played when she was 6. There are definitely good people running this place. Definitely take a chance and grab raffle tickets when your there. Good luck.

Excellent sporting events centre in Waterloo Region. I was here to watch a hockey game. They had state of the art equipments.

Just went to RIM park for OVA Provincials. The facility was set up fantastic. The only tough part was parking. The city tickets all day and never seems to stop..

Great facility! Large hall, soccer pitches, hockey rink, and more. Large open hallways could accommodate large crowds.

Amazing recreation Centre for the people of Waterloo and region. Ice rinks, basketball courts are some of the spaces available. Plenty of parking space.

RIM has so much to offer and is kept in very good quality. Clean bathrooms, well maintained fields and attentive staff. The indoor turf fields get pretty cozy pretty quick but would be one of my top indoor fields for soccer in the KW area.

Before we go too far, let me just say that I actually didn't go into the building, but rather walked along the RIM Park trail. I did take advantage of the ample parking there though.

The trail is quite well marked. Traffic was fairly heavy, which might have been a result of the fact that everything else in the city was shut down because of the Covid protocols. Lovely easy walk. Great scenery on a great snowy, but warm day.

It goes along Critter Creek (as I think it was called). We saw one such critter - a large well fed beaver, but there was evidence in the snow of lots of other such beasts, such as deer and rabbits.

First visit. Easy access. Grandson Evan knew where we were going! Beautiful building. Well maintained. Good hour, well spent.

I checked out RIM park a couple weeks ago for a run and can say it is a phenomenal spot for outdoor activity. Lots of people out golfing, walking and running. Beautiful area to get some fresh air and enjoy the company of family or friends. Definitely one of the better spots to get outside in the KW region.

I went to a craft show so didn't get to see the park in its fullest. But what I experienced was lovely

Went there for the Eid prayer. Big hall with sufficient parking area.

Great facility! Lots of room for attendees during events. I sighted a staff member during the day to maintain washrooms. Washrooms are small but multiple ones throughout the facility, but at a distance.
