I had a genuinely amazing experience here! The gentleman who helped us (it was a few weeks ago and his name escapes me, but he runs with UoGuelph..) was absolutely phenomenal! I’ve just gotten into running more seriously and he helped me find the perfect pair of shoes. He was super knowledgeable, patient and kind. I described what I was looking for, priorities, shortcomings of previous shoes, etc., and he brought me a tailored selection of options. It was actually the first pair he recommended that I ended up going for. He really listened and nailed it! Price was reasonable too. I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks now and couldn’t be happier with my choice. Zero adjustment pains. Thank you to the gentleman and I’m sorry your name escapes me. You were the best!!! I had the absolute best experience at the Running Works today!
If you are looking for new shoes and need help, this is the only store you should consider. I drove the 35 minutes from Waterloo and I am so glad that I did.
The staff member who served me listened to me and what I was looking for in a shoe (as a teacher with some work related foot problems). They produced several options for me to try and even noticed when I needed to size up! This very helpful salesperson even removed one of their own orthotics so I could see how thick it would be and explained how the chiropodist would tailor that to fit my foot in my chosen shoe. Amazing!
In the end, through the knowledge and patience of staff, I left the store with my wonderful new Hoka Mach X shoes and 2 pairs of Feetures socks. My feet are delightfully enjoying their new ride this afternoon.

Went to Running Works for a new pair of shoes and wow, I’m so glad I did! Exceptional service, I came near the end of the day and talked to Carol, and even though it was the end of the day, she was still extremely attentive and patient with me. Finally found the perfect pair and have been loving them ever since. Thank you to Carol, Jake and the whole team for such a lovely experience, cannot recommend them enough!

Running Works is one of the best aspects of running in Guelph. Expert staff, locally owned, welcoming experience. High end products at a great price. Lots of selection and they can order really efficiently. I wear the Mizuno Wave Rider, which they don’t sell anymore, but they ordered them and I had them in 2 days! If you want to learn to run or train for a race or find some friends to run with they have great clinics / groups.

The staff is exceptional, providing outstanding service. The store offers an excellent variety of running shoes to choose from. Overall, it's a fantastic place for all your running needs.

Adam was amazing with helping my girlfriend and I find the right shoes for us. I went in with a list of potential shoes but walked out with a totally different pair that worked better for my feet.

I have since brought in two of my friends to get shoes here and they also experienced amazing service. I genuinely can't praise the store and its service enough, they do an incredible job.

I just want to express my thanks to Running Works kindness to the Up and Running group in Guelph . We meet outside the store and the other day when the weather was crazy we could do our introductions out of the rain and hail in dryness.
I will certainly come here for my next runners ! Kindness goes a long way to build relationships and potential clients .

I had a great experience with my online shoe consult from the Running Works and was able to purchase a pair of new shoes without having to go into the store! Jacob was really helpful in identifying my shoe needs and picking out appropriate options. He provided a lot of information on each shoe option, allowing me to make a well informed decision. The shoes were also delivered right to my door! Can't wait to test them out!

The customer service here is extremely helpful. The pandemic has made it difficult to make sure you get the right shoe but Jacob took the time to meet with me virtually to go over what I was looking for in a shoe and make sure that I had all the information to choose the right shoe for me. Overall a great experience!

I bought a new pair of running shoes online. I have typically shopped in store and have always found the staff to be incredibly knowledgeable. The online experience was easy and seamless. My shoes are being shipped. The emails informing me of the status of my shoes are great!

I did a virtual meeting with Jacob earlier this week and was very impressed by his knowledge and recommendations. That made my decision to buy a pair of shoes from running works very easy. They were delivered to my doorstep 26 hours after I placed my order…..that beats Amazon!! Thanks running works.

Returned a pair of shoes tonight without having the box and they accepted them back in exchange for absmaller size. I’ve been getting all my running gear here for the past 2 years and the customer service has always been great! I highly recommend this store to anybody :)

Amazing experience at Running Works. I came in for new shoes but had no idea what to get. Luke brought out some shoes based on the little bit of info I gave him and gave me some awesome advice for my upcoming race. I am now more prepared for that PR and have the perfect shoes to help me do it. I will definitely be back for all my running needs :)
