Food Basics

This is my second time doing my groceries here. It wasn’t a busy Friday morning at all. What I like about this place is that it’s accessible from where I live, clean, wide and have many products and selections to choose from. The lady in the cashier/checkout counter is nice and didn’t mind that I individually placed the meat products in a plastic bag. She scanned it carefully and put it back properly. That is what you call good service. I wasn’t able to take a good look on her name plate. I just remembered the first syllable is Ji. I hope she’ll be around on my next visit. Overall it was a good shopping experience for me.

Food Basics is an excellent lowest to medium priced, full product line grocery store. They have the no-name bargain bins full of crackers, cookies, candies, soups, various packaged and canned items. They have the higher priced store brand "Irrestibles" in almost every category of packaged and canned foods and all the national name brand food products. I go at least once a week.

Always has the product on stock when ita on sale and the service is always pleasant

The prices are good. Awesome variety of international foods. This frozen curry chicken with jasmine rice was only 2.50 🇨🇦 $. It is the best lunch to take to work.

Food Basics is one of the more reasonably priced options for groceries in the city. You can usually find some pretty good deals there.
This location has lots of parking, and is pretty much right downtown. I do find that some of the produce may not be quite as nice/fresh as more expensive places, but it's pretty good if you'll be eating it soon.

Shop there all the time enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy the people. Prices are great and bargains are fantastic, in and through the store with everything at the tip of my fingertips.

Food basics is one of my favorite places to shop for they have cheaper prices on most things and their 1,2,3 dollar sales they have are amazing. I also love their $10 item area. The pizza bites are amazing.
The staff is friendly too, at least to me.
