Sunny Acres Park

Woodchips under the park and a good sized sandbox next to it with lots of toys left for kids to use. Shovels and buckets and tractors.

My kids LOVED the sand pit, and on a hot day they have the wading pool there too cool down. Highly recommend! And the playground they had a lot of fun on it !!

It was fun my daughter was invited to a birthday party, in the park she enjoyed her self.

Sunny anchors Park is a great community park. It is roughly 1 city block so it isn't huge but has a lot packed into that space. For kids it has swings , a playground and a waiting pool (not sure how often the pool is filled). There are community items like a garden and a barbecue. There are regular meetings of dog owners if you have a sociable pooch. In the summer there is a large open field perfect for baseball or Frisbee. You picnic at a table or toss down a blanket. Sunny achors claim to fame in my opinion is its outdoor rink in the winter. This community rink is truly spectacular! It's incredibly well taken care of by a devoted community. It is very large with seperate sections for playing hockey and skating. It's truly one of the best outdoor community rinks there is. Not just in guelph but anywhere.

Great park. Nice playground set on sand, and there's usually a bunch of community toys (second-hand stuff dropped about; mostly construction trucks and stuff). Lots of old trees to provide shade.

Great park, well maintained with good community activities and involvement.
There is a community garden, children's play area. Large field big enough for playing games, but not professional level sports. In the winter they do an ice rink, in the summer a sprinkler pad.

Great play area for kids with soft, clean sand. Neighborhood has left toys out for everyone to play with.
Also has a small splash pad that I love. It's a large circle that gets deeper in the middle. Deepest part is around 2 feet so very safe for kids of all ages.
On site is a very clean porta-potty.
Lots of grass, couple picnic tables, charcoal grill and tons of shade.
Parking is on the street only.

Love this park. There are lots of toys people have donated lots. Seemed like a great community park. Friendly people and clean as well. My little man really enjoyed himself ☺

Service is great. We stayed for as long as we wanted. Always leave here satisfied but yearning for more. Bathroom situation is not great.

Park, not children's park. Wonderful park, I love it there. Just all don't seem welcome, just kids and their parents.

Great park with lots of toys, open space for playing, safe neighborhood, parking nearby, and a city splash pad staffed with a lifeguard.

Great neighborhood park! Local parents even make a Skating ring for winter.
