Appliance Repair - Guelph

Just before moving into our new house- I was horrified to see my washer seal was full of mildew and couldn't be cleaned out despite all efforts. I knew I needed a new part and called a number of places to find one- all the other places I reached were contact centres telling me I would have to pay a large fee just to have a technician come to look at it- and they may still not be able to get the part. Mike was the only upfront person I spoke to- he told me where to find the model number of my machine- and to send a photo. So easy! He let me know right away he could get the part and would come by the next evening. He also was so kind to add some other items to my list of things to check with both my washer and dryer. He showed up as promised- was incredibly committed to solving the issues and was there enough time to really make sure all problems were resolved. He was also incredibly knowledgeable, personable, honest and kind- he eased my worries. I honestly didn't think this kind of service still existed anymore ! So happy to have found Mike! 10/5 stars!

Mike came to our home, diagnosed the problem with our washing machine, ordered the parts and was back within a couple days to repair. It wasn't an easy fix and presented many challenges. Mike worked until 11:30pm on a Friday night! The next day we realized it still wasn't working properly. He returned, quickly realized what the problem was and had it fixed within minutes. His fee was incredibly reasonable and his service was impeccable. We have found our appliance repair man for life! Don't even bother with the rest. Mike is your man.

I've had Mike service my appliances on three separate occasions and in all cases he did a great job, fixed the issue with no further problems, and provided fast service at a more than fair price. I've had him both install a new appliance and do repairs that saved me from spending $$$ on new appliances. Thank you!

Our 5 year old Samsung washer broke down. It was giving the dc3 error. Mike checked it out and after a thorough diagnosis he determined that it was a sensor malfunctioning. He ordered the part online. It took a couple of days of days to come but as soon as it came, Mike came over and put the thing together and it started working again. Mike is always on time and keeps you informed. Very polite, professional and honest. The cost to fix the washer based on the effort Mike put into it was very reasonable. Highly recommened.

Costco came and dropped off our new dishwasher without installing it. Called around and everyone was quoting ridiculous prices for a simple installation. This guy did it for half that and took his time to make sure it was done right. Just stop reading and call them.

I cannot say enough about how satisfied we were with Mike’s work. He is meticulous, thorough and extremely tidy which was great. He was prompt, honest and treated us, a not for profit charitable organization, VERY fair considering he had to travel almost an hour 1 way to help us. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike .

From the time Rogan came into our house to diagnose our dryer problem he was respectful an polite. He was also very knowledgeable and kept me informed the whole time, allowing me to make informed decisions. When he left our dryer was working like it was new again. Mike was great. Called him on a Monday when my washer started acting up. While on the phone he researched the likely cause and provided a quote. He had availability the next day, Tuesday evening (nice benefit not having to be during 9-5 and also very fast for appliance repair) . On repair day he was running a bit late (understandable in this business) and sent me a courtesy text with an eta (nice customer service touch ). He got straight to work when he arrived...his pre-assessment was correct and he got everything up and running. Certainly worthy of 5 stars.. fast, quality work, good communication... Mike was able to come out to Kitchener later that same day. He uncovered a very subtle issue with the fridge and repaired it at a very reasonable price.

We had issues with our Electrolux washer and found Appliance Repair - Guelph and Mike based on the Google reviews about his work. He did not disappoint! From the get-go, he asked for pictures and really seemed interested to help. He was willing to come out the next day however we arranged another time that fit with our work schedules. When he came out, Mike was honest and his work was thorough and meticulous - he even went above and beyond, helping us with our dryer as well when he saw we needed this reconnected. Mike did an amazing job fixing our fridge. He came out on the Saturday of a long weekend, quickly assessed the issue and was back Thursday with the part to fix. Great service and price.

I phoned Mike about a water buildup in the bottom of my fridge and he and his partner were at my home that evening to repair it. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a plugged discharge line and had it fixed within an hour at a very reasonable price. I wouldn’t call anyone else for an appliance repair.
