A gem in Erin township.

heavenly aroma when you first walk in and the friendly staff are just a few things I love about this place.
It you are thinking about trying it out for the first time, than hurry up and go already.

So thankful we have this gem in Erin. The croissants, cakes, and home made breads are just absolutely incredible. This is not a bakery using premixed doughs. Reminds me of my visit to France. That good! If you are driving through Erin, take the time to stop in. You will not be disappointed!

If you’re looking for authentic French baked goods north of the city then this is the spot!

The French gentleman behind the counter (perhaps the owner?) was extremely friendly and attentive to my young son which made our trip especially enjoyable.

The food quality is phenomenal and I would say bests even many places in Paris and Nice.

As always with French food, you can judge the quality even in the simply things like the plain croissants which have the simultaneously flakey outside with chewy inside which you can’t find at a grocery store. I felt like the Squirrelly tart was also a memorable treat but I feel like you would be hard to go wrong. The coffee eclair was filled with creamy smooth ganache that my son thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to our next visit!

I just ate the most amazing raisin pastry - it was still warm and one of the best pastries I’ve ever eaten! Also purchased croissants & an apple turnover. I cannot wait to try more of this place & their menu. Staff was super friendly, lots of beautiful options & a quaint little spot in Erin! Amazing spot! A must try!

Genuine French bakery. Vegan and vegetarian options. Really fresh, amazing breads. Gluten free options too.

Also extremely kind owner who donated a huge bag of stale loaves to me to take to a farm sanctuary <3

Sooo it turns out I was already following this place on Instagram and had it marked as a “must try” but didn’t realize it when we came upon it while tootling around the area we like to go driving!

@lebistrodupain is LEGIT! Fabulous baguette and FLAKY croissant is what I judge anyone calling themselves a French Bakery on and they passed with flying colours. Ah-maz-ing. Worth the drive up there and those of you who live locally are super blessed to have this place in your neighbourhood! The people working there are also lovely so an overall wonderful experience!

First time visiting this fantastic bakery. Their croissants and quiches are THE best I’ve ever had. Chocolate eclairs are wonderful. Will return soon. Highly recommend this place, even if you have to drive for an hour.

Just happened upon Bistro Dupain and was so pleasantly surprised! Great selection of amazing looking foods, friendly staff, and quaint atmosphere. The assortment of pastries we purchased were incredibly delicious and well worth the money for the talent and care that went into creating them. Will be back for sure!

Absolute perfection. All of the confections are so yummy and so packed with so many flavors that work so perfectly together. The green apple mousse and the pistachio chocolate tart were my favorites. Loved everything!! 🍫🍮🍰🍋🍏

This little French bakery in Erin has proven itself times and over to our little community. I, for one, was ecstatic when I found out I could have some authentic Parisien pastries at only a 4 min drive away from home. Throughout my pregnancy, I drove there almost every week for their decadent pain au chocolat and almond croissants.
They exceeded expectations especially when it came to a special order cake that my mom visualized for her birthday. She wanted a mille feuille cake, which normally comes with vanilla cream, but made with mango cream. When I called up Bistro DuPain and spoke to Gaelle, she said they've never made it before but will definitely give it a shot!
Needless to say, the cake turned out to be decadent and mouth watering! The pastry was so flaky and delicious, the mango cream was the perfect combination of light and fluffy with the correct amount of sweetness. They even put little real mango pieces in the middle, which made the texture of the whole cake pop!
I highly recommend that if you happen to be driving through Erin, definitely make a stop by the little "gas station bakery", which will blow your mind and taste buds away!

We drove for one hour and did not reret at all. Desserts are to die for, worth every penny (and they are not cheap). Chef is a charming French lady and atmosphere matches her completely.

I ordered a cake last minute for 14 people. Told the baker what I needed and this was the creation. Turned out wonderfully! The cake was absolutely delicious!

The New York Roll was so good I didn't even have time take a picture! Staff is also friendly...Service with a smile 😃😄 👍🏼

Amazing little bakery/Cafe! The croissants are out of this world, never had a croissant so good in my life, will definitely be back! The drip coffee was a little weak for my taste but that's just personal preference, still 5 star worthy

Delicious French croissants, baguettes and amazing French style baked breads and speciality desserts! Croissants 🥐 plain, chocolate, almond, and almond chocolate! ❤Quiches are delicious and the sandwiches too! If you are near Erin I highly recommend you stop by this quaint little location! Always busy!! Staff are very friendly and happy to help!

Truly a gem in the town of Erin. Tried this place for the first time and was not disappointed. It was really hard to hold back and not order one of each pastry. Drip coffee was excellent and so were the croissants.

I first spoke to Gaëlle a few months back in regards to doing a wedding cake for my upcoming wedding. From the get go she was super friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable! Leading up to the big day she was great with communicating and even delivered the cake for us! It received many compliments, looked awesome and tasted even better! Once I receive the professional photos from our photographer I will post a picture but just wanted to say, Bistro dupain was a great spot to choose and I would highly recommend!
