Stopped in for a quick lunch. Enjoyed an excellent turkey wrap topped off with a chocolate pecan square. It was delicious and had some nice conversation with the owners. Will definitely be back. Great local small business for sure.

On a super hot day, we headed for a stop for some gelato. Staff is super welcoming and friendly!

Finally tried this place for the first time and I was not disappointed! Got the turkey panini with a side of chips and it was so good. Even got a no-thank-you coleslaw thrown in, which was admittedly just as good. The friendly service is the icing on top of the cake, which reminds me that I'll be back for some of those delicious-looking baked goods.

We were walking past Sugar Dust when a woman out front asked if we were hungry. I thought this was sweet/welcoming and it made me want to order lunch. The service inside was great and they accommodated my request for our order. Our sandwiches were made with all fresh ingredients and they were so delicious. The coleslaw and pickle was a great side. They had a charity cupcake (that tasted great) with some proceeds going to an organization that supports indigenous people. Very lovely experience, highly recommended!

Small owned bakery and cafe in downtown Bowmanville. I got the cauliflower soup to go and the pistachio gelato! Sooo delicious! The other treats all looked fresh and very reasonably priced. Staff were very kind and friendly!

This lovely establishment is the perfect place to have one of their delightful coffees and a decadent treat that is most certainly worth the calories.
I have had lattes and flat whites here both properly made. Cupcakes are fab, my favorites so far are the red velvet and skor. Yum, yum and yum.
Staff is always courteous and knowledgeable.
Note for non coffee drinkers, the tea selection is vast with many varities to choose from.
Parking is plentiful as well.

Family owned with a good selection of tasty sandwiches, coffees, treats as well as gelato. I really enjoyed the cozy window nooks too. Definitely worth returning another time.

Dropped by to have a quick cup of coffee on my birthday but stayed for lunch. This is a quintessential cosy cafe full of charm in a relaxed setting. The coffee, lunch and chocolate cupcake to follow were amazing. The food was fresh with a bespoke and selected menu to choose from. The warm welcome received by George and Carmela was wonderful and truly complemented the ambience.

A friend of mine has been taking about this little treat called Carrot Cake for about 3 years and we finally decided to check this place out! Small, but very cozy in downtown Port Hope. Owners are very welcoming and down to earth friendly! We ordered the Grilled Ham & Cheese with butternut squash soup. Crunchy on the outside and soft inside, and the butternut was excellent but could be more creamy. The carrot cake is hands down the best I've ever had; soft and delicate. The icing was just right, did not make you feel bad eating it. Will definitely return, a MUST place to check out when in town.

Great cup of tea. Amazing desserts' the date bar was a must eat. I am a reluctant calorie splurger and I ate the WHOLE bar. Soo delicious. I am going to have to fed ex some when I get home

I grab lunch from here on the regular. Their sandwiches are amazing. Fresh, home made and the perfect size. Of course I tell myself I am going just for lunch but usually leave with a couple baked goods. You can tell from the first bite that everything is homemade and with real ingredients. The owners are beyond kind and it’s always a great conversation. I’ve had the sandwiches, baked goods, soup and gelato. Each time I do a little happy dance when biting into anything I bring back to the office. It makes my soul happy, you can tell when someone puts themselves into their food and everytime I am never disappointed. Thank you for the fantastic food, baked goods to satisfy my sweet tooth and always making me feel welcome. It’s so special to have them so close to my office.

Extremely nice place, super friendly owners and we had a delicious maple bacon cupcake and maple scone (made special for maple fest). Perfect for coffee with a friend given they have a few tables. Will be going more often for sure!

As frequent visitors to Port Hope, we have been delighted by the delicious food, friendly service and main street charm of this family run business. To date it has proven to be the best cappuccino in town, have delicious scones and the tastiest turkey wrap ever! We look forward to trying the rest of the menu on future visits. Highly recommended!

WOW!!!! May I just say Carmella and George and the MOST wonderful people we have had the pleasure to meet. I have ordered and tried a variety of their desserts and they are ALL so delicious and beautifully made! I just had my wedding cake / cupcakes and brownies done by them. Each visit they took so much care in what we wanted (Halloween themed to boot) Carmella was amazing with her spooky ideas and it just turned out so perfectly! They are real family people and it was a pleasure doing business with them and we will definitely return!!!!!! Thank you two so very much!!!!
