Visiting Montreal and casually run into this bar! No planned and haven’t googled it!
Free entrance!
In the middle of the village! Small but well curated, cool and good cocktails!
I liked the fact that despite was packed, it was not hot and suffocating at all!
Good variation of clientele and cuties!
The bathroom is simply cute!
Music and playlist was all 10’s across the board(like the beard guy that was playing it 😜). I will suggest to stop by to have a drink and some moves on the dance floor!
Service 3 stars only because the busser guy was so rude, literally pushing you when needed to pass by and not even realizing when spilling some drinks of you!I will give 5 stars for the bartender if it was not for the busser. I will go back once visiting Montreal again!

I always have a great time at district and the barmaids and staff are amazing and checked on myself to make sure i was doing okay! It’s a great safe space that plays great music!

I'm in love with this place... Just became my new favorite bar in town. It's an amazing video lounge (I will call it more a bar) with great beers!!! Definitely a place to.have fun.

Before the lounge opened the village was hitting a low as many of the city’s iconic queer spaces were closing down in turn. Since the Video Lounge opened, it has more often than not been busy and full of good energy. The music is always current when its supposed to be and not when its not. The staff has always been accommodating and the shows are usually fun! It is a great place to grab a drink if you’re new to town or even if you just want to take a break from work and isolation.

It’s been years going to this place and it’s always been my bar to go to have fun and enjoy the good music and the excellent service from the staff, they’re always very nice and the service is very fast and efficient. Will be recommending this place to everyone as I have always been doing it!

My friends and I were wandering St. Catherine and decided this bar was busy and could be fun. It was! Great drinks, reasonable prices, and there was a drag show!! It. Was. Awesome. Overall a lovely atmosphere and I will absolutely be returning next time I'm in Montreal.

I didnt know this was one of the only places where you could make requests to the DJ...using your phone. Its a brilliant idea and a fun way for clients to interact with the space and have fun all at the same time. Drinks were good, service was decent, but you definitely need to bring your friends out if you plan to have a good time. It doesnt seem to get too packed so I think it could benefit from more customers.

I loved this place. The bartender was super friendly and they have good beers. Also there is a website in which you can pick the music videos that play in the bar. Recommended.

We went during lunch time, so outside of the busiest time. The result was a relaxed place, some great food and a great atmosphere. The prices were decent and the portions tended to be smaller (which is fine with me because I can rarely gobble down the classic "restaurants portion"). All in all, it was a great place that I can recommend.

Cute place to have a drink and unwind, and you can request music videos! Cocktails are a little pricey for the size but definitely worth it (the butterscotch drink is insanely good). Staff was charming!
