This is not one of the best, but it comes on top of all bakeries in Windsor.
The authenticity of the taste of manageesh and fatayer is genuine,
I tried zaatar and haloumi cheese olive all is waw.
Highly recommended.
I would give it 7 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve been coming to this place for years since 2005. There, meat, pies and cheese pies are my absolute favorite from this place as well as the spinach pies. We used to get our meat pies and cheese pies for under two dollars but they are over four more expensive than what they were back in the day, but I guess inflation has done this

The food was very good but they barely acknowledged me when I was there and felt like a bother.. I had to wait for forever for my shawarma.

Been going here for 10 years my self I can only imagine others this place is like family to me the food is literally amazing go try meat pies cheese pies the ZAATAR with veggies is fire

Food made fresh and worth the wait. Still trying to get used to Canadian food prices. We paid $80 for 2 people. I stalked this place on google until we were able to visit Windsor. My hubby loves Shawarmas and I had the mixed Shawarma platter which was enough for two meals.
Renovations or something is happening so the spot is very small. Best for pick-up, IMHO.

I have been to them all, I've tried them all, I've had many different plates and sides and Island (Green) is flat out the best place to eat Arabic food. I have friends that own their own places and I'm sorry to say to them also that Island is the best. BEST Flavors, best prices, best quantities, this equals the BEST PERIOD

I’ve been eating at this place for 4 years and you’d think you’d get tired of eating pies salads and shawarma’s all the time but it is like a new flavour every time if you have not tried island café you are missing half your life man it’s so CHEAP ITS SO DELICIOUS ITS THE BEST CHEAP HIGH QUALITY RESTAURANT EVER!!!

Outstanding execution. Caveat: I’m a vegetarian, so I cannot speak to their meat. The falafel was made fresh and is among the best I’ve ever had. The pickles and salads are excellent. The hummus as well. Order ahead or plan to wait 20 minutes, as this is not a fast food joint. Dining options may be limited during covid, but the food is idea for takeout.

Really good food! Had Falafel sandwich, Zaatar bread, cheese bread, spinach pie and fattoush salad. Every item has authentic taste. After Kuwait today I had something that good. Staff is also very nice and kind.

Their mushroom burgers and their falafel and hummus are to die for! They're filled with so much flavour and their portions are very generous. AND IT'S ALL HALAL! 🥳

We've also had their steak sub which is also really delicious. Just depends on what you prefer (we're personally a burger and fries kind of people).

Granted I've always had to wait 35-40mins to get my food...but it's worth the wait. Call ahead of time and place your order to avoid the wait.

I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good food. Adorable and generous! Love it! It's a 5 star from me.

Very friendly staff and delicious steak subs. This place has a variety of things to choose from. Very appetizing and filling. They got subs, burgers, salads, nice side dishes, and things like that. Give them a try! 👍

The chicken cheese pie with the chicken sauce is mouth watering. The chicken shawarma are very good. Shoot just give me the chicken! Best pies in Windsor hands down!!! Everyone is friendly, they treat their customers like gold.

I am so glad I found the Island Cafe! I had a falafel yesterday and it was amazing. It was big for someone my size, and I ate the whole thing. Couldn't stop!

One of the best shawarma i have ever tried. Great tasting Falafel with tahini sauce and great Zatar/Cheese. Must try place for Middle Eastern authentic food.
