88 Supermarket (Killarney) Ltd.

Came in for a quick lunch from their hot food bar. It was a good value @ $12 for 3 items. Portions were reasonable for the price and food had good taste and was fresh. Service was quick and walking around the store I saw many great deals. I would definitely recommend this supermarket for groceries/hot food! -June 24’

If you know 88 Supermarket then you know. But this one is extra special. It has the section where you can have fresh Banh mi made for you or fresh sushi or salad rolls. Friendly staff and freshly made. You should get a membership card if you’re going to come here more often. Don’t forget!

2 items with fried rice - $9.48
Beef brisket with carrots and bbq spare ribs, big portions, fair pricing and excellent service! Cooking is more Vietnamese style, not too oily, salty or msg heavy.

2 grilled beef salad rolls - $5.98, bigger portions than Vietnamese restaurants! One is already filling with lots of peanut sauce. Great for lunch 😀

Employees also practice hand washing hygiene as you can see them working in an open kitchen.

Total for both including taxes, only $16.23.

Great additional to their store! Better than the deli they had previously before the renovation.

Mrs Kim banh mi serve one of the awesome banh mi in town! Their deli food is super good highly recommended

Their banh mis are delicious! They have a great light and crunchy baguette with plenty of fillings and good price.

I accidentally visited the 88 supermarket in Killarney last Sunday evening.
This was my first time visiting this supermarket. Many of the items on the shelves were new to me and I couldn't find what I needed; so I asked the cashier.
The cashier was very funny and told me the correct location of the items.
It was a great shopping experience and I remember her name was Leona; hope to meet her again in the future.

Bánh Mì cô Kim is the best. She is really nice and welcoming. ❤❤❤

Excellent grocery store specializing in Asian food. Beautiful fresh vegetables. Nice Bakery items. Avalon milk in bottles. Good prices & friendly staff. I am not Asian. They are very helpful & cheerful.

This has been my favorite store since I moved into this neighborhood. I've always enjoyed shopping here. The staff is always so kind and friendly and the store has various selections of food(particularly from all different Asian countries) with reasonable prices. Today, I had an outstanding experience from an employee so I would like to share it with you. I needed a lot of thinly sliced beef, so I asked the person who was organizing the meat section if someone could slice the beef for me if I bought around 5 kg. She(sorry that I couldn't remember your name) asked the meat department right away, and kindly led me to the guy who was able to help me.
This gentleman(Rick the meat department) asked me all the details that I wanted very kindly. I asked him to slice my beef very thinly using a meat slicer. He said that he couldn't use the meat slicer but he could do it by hand. If any of you ever tried to slice fresh beef thinly, you would know how hard it is. Anyway, he asked me to get 2 copies of the receipts so that he could keep one until I came back. He even went to one of the cashiers to explain and make sure I got 2 copies. I went back to the store to get the beef I requested. He walked me out with the second receipt so that I didn't have to explain to the cashier about the situation again. I opened the beef, It was beautifully sliced and all the silver skins and tough parts were removed completely. He did a such great job! Thank you so very much again, Rick!!

As an immigrant to Canada, I miss the feeling of supermarkets back at home in Vietnam where we have V-Pop playing when we shopping. I really love that experience, especially when I hear Chillies music playing, their songs are extremely good. That's why I would like the new 88 Supermarket to also bring back that experience to Vietnamese people in Canada, the origin of the shop is Vietnamese after all! I sincerely ask the owner of the shop to add V-Pop music to the atmosphere of the supermarket on speakers, so we as Vietnamese can still enjoy that feeling of shopping back at home. I hope you will consider it, and if it happens, I will be sure to comeby to shop every week!

I always come here every Sunday for groceries and food with the family, especially to grab delicious bites from 88 Kitchen! The woman who runs the banh mi section is fantastic—I love her energy and enthusiasm.

Super great grocery store specializing in Asian food. Fresh veggie and super friendly staff especially Maria, the cashier with her best service and quick response. We are willingly become loyal customer.

Abundant choice of products and spices, either frozen or fresh. Sometimes they have specials for fresh seafood. Best place to find ingredients for Asian cooking.

88 Supermarket, formerly Killarney Market, is a world food tour, with an emphasis on Asian ingredients. Killarney was more European and it touted it’s own roast beef. 88 still does the roast beef but doesn’t promote it as such.
We drove by, turned around, and went in to ‘check it out’. We came out with four bags! I was really amazed with all the produce and goods that I had not seen before in other stores let alone under the same roof. Taro stem, banana flower, rice flakes, and pork blood! You will also find random surprises like honeycomb at a great sale price. It took me some getting used to the texture, but if you want to try it for the first time, $7 is a bargain for almost a pound.
88 did keep the Peruvian items from Killarney’s time, and there are a lot of Mexican food products. There are two warmers for various dim sum items. The big surprise for me was the Mexican Pepsi. I have seen Mexican Coke and cola, but 88 was the first time I came across Pepsi. If you are a fan, get it here.
The only thing to note is once inside, the social distancing pretty much went out the window. I think it is very challenging for any store staff to monitor/enforce that and it really is up to the customers to follow the recommend guidelines. So bring your recipes and your shopping bags because you may leave with more than you planned for.

When we're in the area, we make it a point to shop here. They have an excellent selection of ethnic foods and their meat prices are probably the lowest in town. We ordered our prime rib roast beef here from their butcher for our New Year’s party and it was cooked to perfection!

Well thought out Vietnamese supermarket that somehow has fresher food compared to other location. Lots of free parking available. If you are overhelmed by T&T, come here.

I think this branch is better than the one in Victoria Rd. It's more spacious, looks cleaner and more organized!

The new kitchen is amazing. And there's a wide variety of groceries you can buy at 88. In addition the live seafood is phenomenal.
