Peters' Drive-In

We really loved the food - I was so happy to have a gluten free alternative, the lettuce wrap was awesome, thank you! The access leaves something to be desired, however, now that we have been it would be much easier to come again and know what's what. The milkshake flavor options are absolutely incredible!? My friend enjoyed her root beer shake. The fry portions are absolutely generous! So cool and so refreshing to see, in a world that feels like everything is fleeting for the money, this value is much appreciated! Thanks Peters' Drive-in!

We just got one of their famous milkshakes with 3 mix ins - coffee, Oreos and coconut. It may sound a bit strange to some people, but there are Asian cafes that serve coconut lattes and it tastes just like that. The milkshake came super super thick which was nice because we drank it on the way to Canmore and it was still refreshingly cold.

Been here 8 years ago and again today. Still tastes the same as before. Milkshakes, burgers and onion rings are the go to. No indoor seating but there are a few benches outside and around the area you could sit at

Stopped by for a quick lunch on a cold winter day. The staff were very friendly. The food I would say was good overall. The burger was surprisingly very saucy but it ate well. I enjoyed the small bits of onion adding to some extra flavour and texture. The small fries were a generous portion. Next time I would like to try one of the milkshakes, but perhaps on a warmer day.

If you never been to Peter’s Drive-In, you should definetly try it. A little pricy but worth the detour. Milkshakes are absolutely phenomenal ! Very generous amount of fries and unique experience. Bring the whole family, kids will love it ! Overall experience. 8/10.

We hadn't been to Peter's drive-in for quite some time, but our recent visit was truly delightful as we savored their delicious burgers and irresistible milkshakes.

Fruit flavors are very distinct, and I even went to buy M's strawberry milkshake to compare the difference.

🍓 Strawberry and 🌿 Vanilla are personal favorites – classic flavors.

🍌 Banana is slightly less sweet but still a popular choice.
🍍, 🫐, blackberry, cranberry, 🥭, 🍇, 🍑, and the daily special flavors are all worth trying.

🍋 Lemon tastes like lemon-scented dishwashing liquid, not recommended.

🍉 Watermelon is not good as I thought

Cherry 🍒 + chocolate is a good combination.

✔ Sugar Series
Bubblegum flavor has a layer of bubblegum that can blow into a big bubble.

Cotton candy is perfect for sipping by the fireplace on a cold winter day – very sweet.

Chocolate flavor is quite nice, especially when combined with mint

Absolute best milkshakes in the city, if you’re in Calgary you won’t regret stopping by, the milk shakes are huge and come in almost any flavour, the onion rings are pretty good too. Their burgers are kinda plain though.

The milk shakes were wonderful per my sons. The most impressive part of the burger is the tomato sauce. I like the place to eat— outside, in the parking lots, many tables so you can enjoy the nice weather with the nice food….

Fast service even with the long line up on all sides. First time here. We don't have to outside Calgary to enjoy a great treat! Craving satisfied with a loaded banana split. Thanks!

Vacationing from Niagara Falls Ontario and so glad tried this delicious gem.

Gotta stop here if you are driving through Calgary. One of a kind diner. Drive thru's on both sides of the building as well as window service. Amazing food - but the milkshake options... as the sign says 4500 combinations! We all tried double flavour milkshakes and they were all fabulous. The family sized fries is really a family sized meal on its own! Thanks Peter and co! We shall return!

Peters is a one of-a-kind Calgary experience that I will never grow tired of. it's the perfect place to go if you just want a classic burger/fries/onion rings. Also, the milkshakes are the best ones you will ever have AND you can combine any flavour in their extensive list to make the perfect milkshake for you. I highly recommend strawberry-banana.

If you are in town or crossing the town and fan of milkshakes a must drive through or stop is this place. Even if you are driving through relax a bit in thier parking lot and enjoy the drink from the car itself. My favorite is always banana flavor here.

The food isn’t that great but this place is iconic. Fun to experience the long line ups and have some cheeky grub.

Milkshakes are thicccc. If you’re not from the area, ask a local and they will inform you about the hype around peters.

This place had something unexplainable that makes you like it. Definitely not the best burger or fries so don’t expect gourmet food but the overall experience makes it the best. Very reasonably priced and good portion size. Tons of great milkshake flavours. And just the vibe itself makes it an amazing experience. Highly recommend it.

Love this place! I always have a cheeseburger and onion rings, sometimes fries and gravy. Their single cheeseburger has two patties, so you have to ask for a single-patty cheeseburger if that's what you want. Onion rings are always crispy, French fries could be crisper, they're sometimes limp even when asked to make them crisp. Milkshakes are amazing, thick and flavorful and you get a good straw. Lots of outdoor seating and lots of friendly staff means you don't wait a long time for your food some days. Busy days might mean a longer wait but it's worth it!

Great food and fast service as always! Love how many flavors of milkshake they have. We always stop here on the bike for a quick bite. If it's a hot day there will be a line!

24.05.04 Ordered some milk shakes for our group of 4 that were delicious. Staff was very helpful with advising what flavours were the most popular however I stuck with my favourite. Didn't know you could order up to 3 flavours (squirts) in a shake so got two squirts of cherry in mine this time. Two was a bit too strong so I can't image three squirts of the same flavour. I'll be going back to just one squirt next time.
