I had a chick salad with a lemonade at this cafe for my biking stop. It is a lovely place with lovely staff :)

A very humble and rustic place
The food was honestly so great. I got a little bit of everything to try out (and ended up sharing more than half because that was a lot lol)
I got the blueberry lemon scone - which let me say, is massive. That’s something you will definitely want to share with at least 3 people. It’s super sweet and soft so coffee is a must !
I also got the coffee shake - I don’t know how to order my coffee to be frank I’m a processed coffee girl but once I mixed in the whipped cream 👌🏼👌🏼
My favourite was probably the egger sandwich with avocados. It’s definitely slightly pricey but frankly, worth the price because it was fresh and just it was perfect and light but full of flavour.
If you are trying to support local businesses this is definitely one to be put on the map !
The entire place is super cute and homey - I will be coming back to try out the rest of the menu :)

Was on the way to St Jacobs when we stumbled upon Rumble Tum Cafe & Gifts. We have always wanted a countryside breakfast instead of a franchise place. Since it was past breakfast hours, lunch menu was in.
The owners are nice and patience with us, having two little children and undecided on the menu.
We ordered two salads, a ham sandwich, three cookies, three coffees and two glasses of milk. They brought the food to our table and the food was fantastic and reasonably priced.
The place not only serves food. It has lots of gifts that one can browse around. It was nicely decorated and quiet for families and friends to enjoy.

If you are going for scones and tea or coffee I suggest you go early. The same applies to indoor seating which is limited and a little tight but the food, baked goods and atmosphere make it all worth while. Don’t forget to check out their gifts too.

Heidi and Quinn always curate the best in giftwear and also make amazing quality lunches and drinks. I highly recommend an iced chai latte and almond tart on the beautiful shaded patio out back! When at the market it is worth the trip to the village of Conestogo.

Update: Great new breakfast menu! The egg sandwich with avocado ❤👌

Great Cafe in Conestoga. Their traditional menu and soups are great. Surprising large amount of seating in this home turned Cafe. Coffee is on point. If you want to leave the Kitchener without going too far, this is a great place to go. I would personally like to see a few more healthy options added to the menu, but everything tastes like great quality and made with love (and they will modify your order with no complaints).

Came here with a friend. I loved the atmosphere and unique experience we ordered our drinks and food and shopped around while our sandwiches and drinks were getting prepared. They had many products from local Crafters. The cafe was cozy and inviting and most importantly different from your standard Starbucks experience. The owners stopped and chatted with us. Very welcoming place. They also have gluten free accommodation. Worth the trip!

I have been going to Rumbletum for about 15 years and I have never been disappointed. They have the best sandwiches and their soups are so so so good. Today I experienced their new brunch menu and my waffle sandwich and parfait were light and tasty, not heavy at all. If you like boardgames, they have some awesome ones to purchase. Heidi and Quinn have always been super friendly, hospitable and humble. I'm so glad Sawmill Road is open again. See you soon Rumbletum!

Try out this original eclectic location for great sandwiches, salads, coffee and desserts. Inside and outside dining under a huge black walnut tree.

This is my wife’s and my favourite country cafe by far. Their scones are to die for, and they also make great coffee, but most of all I enjoy the atmosphere. In the warmer months, the outdoor patio is one of the cutest places to enjoy your coffee. The owners are super friendly and patient. Don’t listen to the haters — this is a fantastic place to enjoy some yummy desserts! Keep up the great work!

Three of us were there for the first time for tea and scones. There were no scones and mainly cake left. The cake was delicious and we were given a business card with the suggestion to call ahead early next time to have scones set aside for us. A very thoughtful suggestion.
We had a very enjoyable time browsing in the the gift shop.

A wonderful experience. We enjoyed a half sandwich and soup. The portion sizes were perfect. The service was friendly, and atmosphere cozy. It was a real treat to walk through this converted century home and browse the many locally made crafts for sale. If visiting, be sure to check out the upstairs for many one of a kind decorative pieces!
