The Lip Bar

Nikita, the Store Manager, was very helpful in assisting me with picking out concealer and a tinted moisturizer. She introduced me to the lip oils and chose a shade I wouldn't normally pick but it looked really good on me. The lip oil instantly moisturized, that my lips felt softer even after removing it to try another shade.
I got the face bundle (concealer, tinted moisturizer, and powet), along with the lip oils and 2 of the moisturizing lipsticks.

I love this place. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable, they actually care about making sure you leave with the right products for you and the showroom is exceptionally well maintained. The bawse lady lipstick is my absolute favorite, not just of theirs but of all time, and every time I wear it I feel like I'm putting on some sort of superhero mask or something because it brings it out of me!

Natasha was very helpful and I was treated very well as a customer to the Downtown Detroit store today. She assisted me with selections and products for the look I aspired to have. I appreciate her tenacity in that effort and her customer service. Today was a wonderful experience to celebrate being a woman!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed my visit to The Lip Bar. I found the. Staff to be welcoming and helpful. I tried new lip colors and was encouraged to enhance my routine. I also got my eyebrows done and I look magnificent. I had a beautiful day and I’ll be back.

I booked an “Easy On The Eyes” private party in early December 2021 and it was wonderful. The attention to detail, enthusiasm, decorations and customer service were EXCEPTIONAL! I was so pleased and over the moon with how the store manager Antanicka and her partners executed and incorporated my “rose quartz self love” theme into the party. The treats by Four Taste were not only delicious but also very beautiful and on point. The make up artists were skilled, kind, and engaging. I just can’t say enough about how well this party was done. They went above and beyond. All my guests were pleased. Thank you so much TLB!
Booking a private party with them is an awesome experience and I highly recommend it!

Clean, great vibe and atmosphere. Friendly staff. I came 30 minutes before close and still got exceptional service + samples of their new skin care line! 100% recommend!

Courteous & Friendly Service @ The Lip Bar. My friend and I came in to purchase lip products; and we wind up getting our eyebrows arched and sipped on some wine. Ariana was great and did a good job on our “EYEBROWS” — we will be back!

So... After searching around the many of Targets and Walmarts to be thoroughly disappointed in trying to find the allusive Lip Bar for my girlfriend, I decided to step up my game and go on an adventure to the source and I must say, the establishment was stunning! Though I am not the clientele, the atmosphere was rich and inviting. The service was fantastic and though I can't review the product, my girlfriend was overjoyed.

If you are looking for the Lip Bar, my recommendation is just to visit the store. It is well worth the trip!

Cute place located in a lively alley in the city of Detroit. The flagship store is unique and offers a nice range of colors. I appreciate how the company has added new product lines to their brand- including lip liners and blush. Will definitely purchase more! Worth the visit to the store.

They have great products and excellent customer service. I love women owned businesses and they've definitely made a name for them self. Even if your not buying anything they'll help you find colors to your taste and allow you to try on their products. Please stop by and show support.

Today was my first time walking into the lip bar. When I first heard of this place, it was about two years before the pandemic occurred. A coworker of mine introduced me to the lip bar and I ended up purchasing my items online not knowing that this is a Detroit, Black Woman Business Owned Company that I could have just walked into. My experience today was wonderful. The assistant Nia was very helpful, polite, honest and kind. The only downside I will say about the business is the location. It’s a little bit hidden especially if you are someone who was not familiar with downtown Detroit. However, I found it lol Stop sleeping in the LipBar. They have are doing great things within the cosmetic industry, especially for people are looking for clean vegan products. By the way as soon as I got home, I ended up ordering something else online 🤣

I absolutely loved my experience today at the Lip Bar. I’m not big on makeup and I purchased their Easy Beauty Bundle and it was everything I need. The sales rep was so patient and helpful. She didn’t try to oversell me and only picked out products that I would actually use… this brand is my absolute fav…

My best friend and I went make-up shopping and had a great time. The quality of the products are excellent. The young lady that assisted us was very knowledgeable and professional. The swings at the make-up tables are a must try!

I have been in love with this brand since it was introduced to me two years ago on a work tour and the woman working didn't blink at 12 people walking in and asking a bunch of questions. I went in yesterday and had an amazing experience with the woman that helped me, needing advice on lips shades and eyes and she was phenomenal!

The ladies at the Lip Bar Detroit were Amazing! I needed my makeup done and they immediately scheduled a last minute appointment. Upon my arrival I was warmly greeted by the store’ owner, the manager and the make up artist! My experience was simply wonderful. They went over and beyond to give me the look I desired, while pampering me during my visit!

I love this place! I wanted the flagship experience and more options from online and Target…The staff was amazing and I will definitely recommend this location and product.
