The decor is dark and enchanting, with dim lighting masks and mugs featuring all your favourite horror characters..But the real magic happens on Fridays! They offer palmistry and tarot readings that are both fun and insightful. The readers are incredibly knowledgeable and have a way of making you feel comfortable, even if you're a bit skeptical. The coffee is excellent too they have so many different flavours – rich, flavorful, and just what you need to sit back and soak in the spooky atmosphere. They also have a great selection of pastries and snacks to go along with your drink. The staff is friendly and always up for a chat about the supernatural or the latest horror movie.The big screen is just perfect to watch the hockey or soccer games.
Highly recommend visiting on a Friday for the full experience. It's the perfect spot for anyone looking to add a little magic to their coffee routin

Amazing cafe with an incredible atmosphere and ethos. I'm a huge fan of the Deadly Grounds brewed coffee, and I love their huge selection of beans to take home. They also offer a wide range of other beverages and treats, so they've definitely got something for everyone. In terms of atmosphere, their realization of their horror theme is impressive and great fun. One could spend hours taking in all the art, creations, and products (much of it for sale). A big part of the atmosphere is also the wonderful staff who are friendly, hardworking, and knowledgeable. As someone who lives in the area, I also appreciate that Deadly Grounds creates an inclusive, welcoming space, and that they serve as a community hub with a variety of fun, unique events. If you're a coffee fan, Deadly Grounds is must-visit. If you're a horror fan, it's must-visit. And if you're like me and love both, then Deadly Grounds will be your heaven, or perhaps more fittingly . . . your hell!👻❤

I am a regular here, their lattes hot or iced are always delicious. The atmosphere of the store is amazing and right up my alley (Halloween/spooky). The staff are always super friendly and outgoing. The take home bags of coffee are amazing, very good price and so many fun flavours to choose from. Lotsa fun merchandise and live that they support other local businesses by selling some of their products in the store. ( Candles, jewelry, soap etc..)

I recommend this place to everyone. You need to try it at least once!

It was my first time visiting in person (I usually order beans from the website). The staff was very friendly and the lady who took my order and suggested a latte to try was very nice and made an excellent suggestion it was delicious. I also bought a great travel mug and regular mug. I am definitely coming back later today for another latte :)

This place has the absolute best coffee I've ever had in my entire life!! My usual go-to is the Myers, and they always make it absolutely perfect everytime. The baristas are very sweet, and the shoppe itself is definitely one of my new fave places. They also have goodies for purchase that are horror themed, and they're all so very very spooky!

Amazingly unique coffee shop with a fun morbid decor accented with video games. The cappuccino was ok and the pastries were great, but wished they had more variety. Still a great place to hang and can't wait to go back

I went to the deadly grounds cafe on my birthday and coincidentally they were holding a pumpkin painting event (for free!) locally donated from Pringle’s farm.
the horror themed cafe is a cool place to visit, family friendly atmosphere with plenty to look at (and shop for if you’re in love with all things horror!!) The themed food and drinks were a plus on top of everything else :)

Pretty nice coffee and very different. Have over 30 different flavours on rotate. Definitely worth a try and the staff are friendly and take the time to explain all the different choices

Been ordering their coffee for a couple years now, and it's amazing. The only brand I regularly buy.
We went on a short trip this week, so we stopped in on our way through (and back).
Such a cool cafe! Tons of cool mugs, and very friendly staff! Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for coffee.

I was so happy to find a coffee shop that made really good coffee, and so excited to go back the next morning to get more. I was terribly disappointed when I got a medium that was less than 3/4 full, overly strong for being a latte, overly hot that it impacted the flavour, and made with whip instead of regular milk like I asked. There also were no individual sugars and stir sticks. Please, please, encourage consistency moving forward.

I loved it! The staff was super welcoming and friendly 😊 The coffees were very tasty! The ambiance was exactly what I wanted. I discovered them on insta 5 years ago now, the first time I visiting and it did not disappoint 5 years' worth of anticipation ❤

Saw this coffee on a friend’s social media page. The packaging stood out to me instantly. I placed an order of coffee and hot chocolate. When I received my order the hot chocolate had ripped open during shipping and spilled out everywhere. I contacted the store and was put in contact with Brad. He apologized on behalf the shipper and sent me out a new Hot chocolate right away.

I love the coffee I ordered and am super impressed by the customer service!

Why?!?!? Can't we have one of these up Barrie way. Lol my partner and I would haint the place! Amazing vibe, chill staff, super good baked goods and coffee treats. We've been twice now and taking whole bean coffees home to enjoy. Love the artisan goods! Only wish I had jumped on that anatomical heart in a bell jar when I saw it!

Very unique coffee shop with a very good iced white chocolate coffee. They're into the spooky stuff and had a special Friday set up. Our barista was fantastic very friendly and recommended a few cold coffees

Love this place! The coffees are fantastic with a ton of cool horror themed drinks. Great and simple food options. And the horror desserts are both creepy and delicious. The decor was horror and gothic themed, which looked awesome.

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Prices are super affordable. Never experienced anything like it! Great for anyone who enjoys spooky merch & amazing coffee & treats. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I took my 10 year old son to this place in Courtice, Ontario. Well worth the trip from Pickering. My son had a "Peanut Bludder Hot Chocolate" with a Scor Biscotti and I had a "Peanut Bludder Coffee Late" with a fabulous brownie. Both drinks were size "PG-13". Other available sizes PG & Rated R. Brad & Jess were excellent servers as well as helpers. Store was brilliantly organized and extremely cool. My son absolutely loved it and we shall return like Jason 🔪
