Paramita Sound

Stayed at the Siren for a week....went to Paramita almost every night, as it's directly beside the hotel. Echoing what others have already said, very chill space...great staff, great tunes, and a really well-curated selection of wine, beer and vinyl. I walked away with three albums, one of which is Fela's Zombie album. It was just so cool to pop down there at like 11pm and have a beer and listen to a live DJ. Really good spot.

We stopped in last night and had a great experience! It's a unique spot and feels right at home in Detroit. The vibe is very friendly and relaxing. The staff members were very cool and welcoming. The DJ was fantastic and the volume was perfect. The focus is definitely on the music but it was still comfortable to hold a conversation. The aesthetic is modern and minimalist. The wine selection is solid. Our bartender recommended a delicious dry rose for me and I really enjoyed it. We planned on just stopping in for a minute to check it out, but ended up staying for quite awhile because we were having such a great time. Fantastic addition to downtown. The entrance is adjacent to the gorgeous Siren Hotel lobby.

Súper chill bar/wine bar that is also a record store. The place has only a few seats but it feels right just as is. Cool for a night cap, or a quick drink pre dinner.

Such a cute spot. Andre is very welcoming and really knows his music. One of my favorite gems.

Excellent vibes. Smaller, chiller but still lively and hip spot with a live vinyl dj, great service, and great wine. Also has a small outdoor area where you can get a little fresh air. Great for any point in the evening (we went at the beginning of our night but I could see spending a whole night here)

Unique place downtown to get a drink. Their wine selection is slightly limited for glasses but the atmosphere is top notch. They do have a decent bottle selection. Really cool atmosphere. I would equate it to going to your best friends house in high school to hang out. It would be my first pick for a place to go downtown to spend the night out...

Excellent selection of wine and music

We have been waiting for Paramita Sound to return and are blown away by the record shop/wine bar. Absolutely love the vibe and energy, can't beat the location. Such a hidden gem but I anticipate not for much longer!

Music and Motown are synonyms with Detroit. In about 10/15yrs you’ll also include Paramita Sound In that prestigious company. The innovative idea that went into a space like that can only be rewarded by the people that value the city. This space and the people that own it are every part of Detroit as are the skyline you see from the freeway when approaching. The company, individuals, and atmosphere at Paramita Sound unmatched. Do yourself a favor and stop in for the flavor. It’s everything you need!

Ana was incredibly knowledgeable. Her wine and beer list was artfully selected. Excellent eclectic records for sale too. Have a glass and buy some records.
