Jason really took his time to show me around his shop, letting me know where everything is and how they're sorted. Also, he asked me what kind of stuff I like, and put on a couple of records that I may potentially enjoy -- turns out, he's a bit of an audiophile, and knows a lot about great-sounding records. We even went a bit over business hours chatting and listening to his recommendations. Thanks to Jason for turning me onto some albums I wouldn't have discovered any other way. This is how it's done folks! You could really tell that Jason is really passionate about music and really, REALLY knows his stuff! I'm only in Windsor on business, and I wish that we have someone like Jason and GoingThruVinyl where I live. What a really cool cat! Highly recommended!

I recently sold two wine boxes of quality used LPs to the store. I was happy with the sum I received.
I've been buying records in the Windsor/Detroit area and beyond since 1967. GoingThruVinyl is one of best record stores I've seen. The emphasis is on quality of selection and product quality. You can expect friendly personal service and a pleasant space to browse records and CDs.

Recently moved to Windsor from Toronto and am happy to have found a gem. My partner and I are both collectors and often savour weekend coffees flipping through crates of vinyl. We’ve been to a lot of places and Jason’s more than competes. Seems like he always has something going on for us audiophiles, definitely drop in and follow for daily updates on stock.

I was cleaning out my storage unit and I had a whole bunch of 70s vinyl albums. I didn’t know what to do with them so I asked a friend and he recommended this store. Jason was very helpful and gave me an idea of what I could get for my records. He showed me around the store and I felt very comfortable with his knowledge. I was quite happy with the amount that he gave me. I am definitely telling my friends and coming back.

The selection is well curated (but still with tons of options) and the dollar bin had lots of fun stuff in it.

So first time visiting this little gem, and I have to say I'll be heading back there very soon... this is such a cool spot to look for that album you've been searching for, but also just to browse. The store is laid out in a very intuitive way and there are many excellent choices to explore. The sleeves used are excellent as well, much better than your average "plastic pocket". You should definitely check it out.

Excellent quality of vinyl, and incredibly impressive selection of titles. Jason is lovely: an eloquent and a knowledgeable owner. I would recommend that any lover of music to visit the shop, and hope to see an expansion of hours at the earliest convenience for Jason. I look forward to my next visit!

Best record store in Windsor hands down!!!
This hidden gem is located on Ottawa Road where you can get lost for hours going through their elaborative collection of vinyls and CDs. I was surprised I didn’t hear about this store sooner. The variety is HUGE, you will definitely find what you are looking for and much more for a very affordable price.

A total boon for the Windsor vinyl community. The owner really knows his stuff and has a serious passion for what he's doing. The attention to detail on display is inspiring; among the many genres and eras represented on their shelves, you'll find professionally cleaned records in high quality sleeves (both inner and outer), graded and priced fairly. Shopping here is a premium experience and I urge anyone to come see what I mean. I'm excited to see what the future holds for this shop.

This is the record store experience I know and love. The owner is clearly an audiophile and a musical encyclopedia - his collection is incredible. The way the store is laid out/categorized - so cool - fun browsing experience especially if you want to stumble upon some gems. A MUST-VISIT for vinyl collectors. Small but mighty - just a solid vinyl/music lover’s dream. Great to see this passionate spirit alive and kicking for local record shops. Support ‘em!

Great selection of vinyls and cds! Found some gems while I was searching through. Amazing organization for any genre you’re looking for. Would highly recommend stopping by if you’re a big fan of music. Jason is super helpful and informative and is always down to show you what’s new at the shop!

This would be my first RSD experience and it was a great one thanks to GoingThruVinyl. I hadn't heard of this spot but discovered through the recommendation of a friend. A few messages were exchanged and I had made the decision to take a chance and line up. After about an hour wait, the store opened and were welcomed inside where I found the only item I came in for. While waiting in line to pay the owner was chatting with almost everyone that came in to see what they were looking for which was a nice touch. Glad I found this spot and and cannot wait to check it out in the future - it's worth the drive.

This place is the real deal!! Not just any record store but a true destination. Since I've started shopping here last year, Jason opened my eyes to the next level of really amazing sounding record pressings. From Acoustic Sounds, UHQR, Mobile Fidelity, Rhino, Japanese pressings, Blue Note and the list goes on. Music from around the world that I've never heard and genres that I never knew existed that is truly amazing. Jason's attention to detail is second to none as the used stock is cleaned using a multi stepped process. Also uses poly sleeves on the outer jacket and the inner sleeve. Jason has opened my eyes up to the world of CD's again as he has an amazing collection that I have never seen before or never knew existed. I can't thank him enough! Definitely brought my music collection to the next level! Thank you Jason for making my musical journey a very special one. Cheers!

This is an amazing record store with a unique concept that I haven't seen anywhere else. Jason, the owner, is as friendly a record store owner as you will ever meet. They had tons of stuff (also cd's!) that I couldn't find while traveling all through Canada/Western New York in the last few weeks visiting record stores. Highly recommended!

This place is a gem for vinyl and audio enthusiasts, as Jason’s emphasis on quality is evident as soon as you walk in the door. The presentation, cleanliness, and albums are top notch and meticulously curated. There’s even an instant reward / free album system based on purchase amount, which is a really cool bonus on your way out. Looking forward to many visits.

This place is awesome! The vibes are very welcoming and hip. The selection is top notch. The prices are great and the quality of the records are some of the best I’ve seen around. The owner is extremely kind and informative but not over bearing while you search. I went in with the hopes of finding one record I wanted and left with five. (1 being for free! Yes that’s right, he even gives you one for free after purchase!) I enquired about a record I didn’t see on the floor and within a few minutes I had it in my hand as he was kind enough to find it somewhere in the back for me. I cannot recommend this place enough and I know I’ll be a frequent guest. Thank you sir for your generosity, knowledge, chats and kindness.
