I can’t believe I have not written a review for GRC yet! Big woops!

I go to GRC a few times a year (I don’t live close by unfortunately).

The selection and the staff are stellar.

Knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming!

Comics? Statues? Transformers? 2nd hand Toys? GRC has your back!

The one area the shop may lack is a large selection of back issued comics. I believe this is purely due to space. They do have some though!

My favourite comic shop in town! Love GRC!!!!

Took my nephew (who is absolutely obsessed with transformers) in, to pick out his birthday present. We were greeted when we walked in by friendly helpful staff. The store is quite large for similar store types and has a ton of different collectibles and such. It didn't feel cluttered or crowded which I greatly appreciate. The staff were wonderful and offered assistance with anything we needed. The staff were amazing interacting with my nephew who was turning 6 which was awesome and made him feel so excited. Overall a wonderful store with lots of selection and amazing staff. I would highly recommend and plan on going back.

Came across Giant Robot on our 1st trip to Nova Scotia. What a fantastic store, so many cool nerdy things to choose from. Comics, Anime Figures, Video Game Merch, Etc. I ended up buying most of my souvenirs from here. But the best part was the wonderful staff who engaged with us, asking about where we came from and even gave us a few freebies. Whether you live in Dartmouth or are visiting, you've gotta check this place out. I hope to visit it again one day.

A nice store with a great selection of figures, comics, and more. Most the employees are nice and very approachable. Was just disappointed with my last visit because I don't have a vehicle and it took me a while to get here, was coming to pick up a green arrow I asked to he held on June 11. Came in on June 16 and was told by an employee that they didn't know where the figure was and they were sorry. Was pretty disappointed considering that was the main reason I came in.

Good place for gundam kits if dont wanna wait for being shipped. Just a bit expensive, but its a very niche hobby, so it's ok as small market if not selling online and I'm cool with supporting local businesses. The hg I I got to build with cousins while visting out east, turned out good.

Amazing store and super awesome staff. This store is the reason I got into collecting cards and comics. Hands down most welcoming store for all your nerdy needs.

A gem of a store in the heart of Woodlawn, they have tons of board games, comics, TTRPG products, pop figures, etc.

The staff are extremely friendly and will gladly help you if you are searching for anything specific

One of the best comic shops in Halifax. Only reason I don't consistently come here is I live to far away.

Giant Robot is my favourite comic book store to visit when I come to the Halifax area. The staff are always nice, they'll hold items for me until I can visit, and their selection is great!

My four year old is obsessed with Transformers and Giant Robot has an incredible selection. My son has been carefully saving his piggy bank money after visiting for the first time. Today he finally had enough saved up and went in proudly to pick out some Transformers. An AMAZING gentleman wearing glasses gave my son such an awesome experience..chatting with him and being so kind. After he picked out some Figures, the gentleman sent him home with lots of extras. Thanks for making this such a great experience for my son and fostering his love of comic book stores…yours is the best! ❤

Such an amazing store with lots of great collectibles, comics, card games and a good selection of board games. Very organized and tidy! Staff and owner are extremely polite and friendly! I am becoming a regular even though it's not the closest to my house. I just love it! Only wish there was more room for people to play games but the amount of tables/seating is adequate for its regulars.

Shop is always clean and well organized, and they offer things for all levels of dedication—for avid comic readers and collectors, to low-key fans that just want to own something from a show they like. All price ranges available too. Something for everyone!

Highly recommend Giant Robot! Staff is always friendly and helpful. If they don't have it, they can usually order it for you. Their prices are more than fair. They are now my #1 go-to for all my collectable needs!!
