Something Sweet Cafe 拌冰拌糖

Last weekend, I happened to be in this area, and the weather was a bit hot. So I wanted to have a cold drink, but there were very few shops around. I chose this one to try. Interestingly, it had a lot of pictures on the walls, and the most special part was the ceiling, which was decorated with many cute hangings, making it feel like stepping into a fairy tale world. I ordered an iced oat milk Earl Grey bubble tea. The pearls were very soft and chewy, and the tea had a rich and fragrant flavor. Since I had my dog with me, I sat at their only outdoor table. Soon, a very friendly staff member came out and asked if they could give my dog some free ice cream. When she brought out a cute little cup, I saw some things that looked like chocolate chips on top. I thought they were chocolate chips, but she explained that they were carob beans, which are safe for dogs, and mentioned that she also had a dog. My dog gulped it down in just a few bites. It was the first time I had heard of carob beans, and she even told me to Google it .Overall, it was an unexpectedly pleasant experience, and I will definitely return.

Such a hidden gem in royal oak, this cafe has different variety of drinks and sandwhiches a lot of their items I find very unique!

We were waiting for our car wash to finish so we decided to come here for a quick refreshment we ordered a jumbo mango slush with pearls. Was perfect not too sweet and has the right amount of mango flavour she said she used 2 mangos and I can definitely tell!

I recommend for all your sweets and bubble tea needs!

Been a customer of theirs for almost a whole year now, and still remains my favourite cafe in royal oak! They always have great food and are changing up the decor from time to time, and the owner is super nice and accommodating 😊

I've also worked with them a couple of times to organize events at their cafe and the process has always been super smooth and fun to organize with Something Sweet, and they have such innovative ideas all the time for new food and drink items! 100% recommend!

This cute little cafe has so many unique items on their menu. I tried the lunar moon drink which is rabbit candy flavour. I definitely enjoyed the drink and had a strawberry croffle. I didn't expect the inside to be so cute! I'd definitely come back here

We ordered two bobas and a watermelon smoothie and they were all sooo good! The drinks are super aesthetic and the boba drinks are made from real tea which I love. It was my sisters birthday and she got her drink for free 🤩🎉. And students get 10% off when they show their ID!

They are well known for their egg sando, bubble waffle and croffle.

Today I tried their no.1 drink mango Pamelo and sago and it was delicious!

The bubble waffle I tried it with the Portuguese filling and that was yummy as well

I really like the different variety of choices they have and I cannot wait to try the other items in the menu.

The place is spacious and clean. I love the cute decor and the owner was super friendly and I will be coming back again!

I ordered the tiramisu iced latte and the moo moo cow sandwich. The tiramisu iced latte was delicious, I always ask for less sweet, and it just hits the spot. The sandwich was excellent, and their egg and bread ratio was perfect. Every time I come here, I'd try a different sandwich. The decorations are very cute as well, and the panda artwork on every wall is adorable.

Tried their authentic Hong Kong-style egg waffle. It was absolutely delicious! The waffle was perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. I chose the Portuguese tart flavor, and it had an amazing taste

Eggie Sando : my mouth was definitely on fire with the spicy noodles .. but still could not stop eating it. The egg and brioche were fluffy.

The lime soda drink was a little more on the sour side than sweet which I surprisingly enjoyed

went here for a k-pop event, it was so nicely decorated and pretty. service was super fast and the drinks were tasty! prices are a bit steep but this is pretty average for most cafes i’ve been to.

Amazing neighbourhood cafe that’s spacious, clean and with super cute decorations . Coconut latte is my all time favourite, and their sesame latte & purple potato latte are my go to drink for this winter! You will enjoy sesame latte more if you like something sweet.
Their bubble waffle’s so original and yummy too! Definitely recommended!!!

Excited about the combination of egg sandwich and spicy noddles so ordered one for take out. It turned to be a fantastic pairing! The more I ate, the more enjoyable it became.
Perhaps because it was packed in the container, the bread became a bit soft by the time, will try it again at the restaurant next time.
The interior of the restaurant is very clean, suitable for family.

One of my favorite cafes in the area! Staff and Owners are always kind and friendly, I love coming here. Also the food & drinks never miss!!! Highly recommend this cafe if you are ever in the area. I recommend trying their curry fish balls, corn cheese croffle, mango sago drink and my all time fave drink "first love" which is a seasonal special flavour 😍 I will keep supporting this business and recommend all my friends to try it out!

A very pretty dessert place with some fantastic warm food and boba! The atmosphere is very cute, and their menu is quite impressive too. I highly recommend their scrambled egg sandwiches :)

Went there twice, once for the sandwich and the other time was for dessert. The egg truffle sandwich is awesome. The truffle smells so good and taste even better. The watermelon slush is huge and yummy too. Definitely will go there again!!

Really enjoyed my jumbo shrimp egg sandwich and my scallop egg sandwich today. Eggs were fluffy and flavorful. The shop is very kids friendly (free ice cream for kids under 5!!). Usually not a huge fan of coconut, but the coconut latte was great - well balanced and coconut was not overpowering. Can't wait to go back to try the bubble waffles and croffle.

You are pleasantly surprised by the colourful decor as soon as you enter the café space. The theme clearly is Valentine’s Day throughout February, but am not sure if they plan to switch it up later. They also have a plethora of drink options including shaved ice, smoothies, and boba tea.

Highly recommend. Foods and drinks are delicious, a little bit pricey but worth it. Staff are nice, more than willing to answer any questions.

I did not expect the sando was so good! 😍 portions was good and worth it. The cafe was so cute with a lot of decorations. I got the tiramisu latte and it was good as well. If you want to have a brunch or light lunch, i would recommend this place.😊
