Planet Bean Coffee - Wyndham

I’ve been to this Planet Bean a few times now and have not been disappointed once. The staff are knowledgeable and efficient, the food and drinks are tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. The dark chocolate oat milk hot chocolate and carrot cake are two of my favourites. (The “latte” art on my hot chocolate in the photos was much better before I jostled the cup.)

This place surprised me! I assumed that their desserts were going to be the usual unimpressive coffee chain desserts. I was wrong. Wow, their almond cookie was amazing! Don't miss this one! This place was hopping with customers. They have fair trade and organic products. They encourage eco-friendliness.

Vegan/Gluten Free: They have desserts for you!

Non coffee drinkers: They have a raspberry hot chocolate and hot apple cider!

Bakery items: They source their bakery items either exclusively or mostly from two bakeries.

Noise level: It isn't super quiet, and it isn't loud.

Dining options: Indoor or takeout.

Friendly independent coffee shop. 4 locations, all in Guelph. This one's the best imho. Laid back atmosphere. Good natured staff who serve it up hot or cold, simple or complex: however you like it best.

One thing I love that doesn't get enough recognition by reviewers is the great little bookshelf of mixed classics. The bookshelf offers a standing invitation to take a break from mindless scrolling. You don't realize how caught up you are until you open one of these - and get lost in a whole different way.

Lots of windows, big plants, and the curving counter give the shop a wonderfully cozy feel. Such a great fit in historic Guelph!

Cosy ambience. Loved my hot chocolate and my friend had mocha. Adequate service, had a good time 🙂

Wowow! If you love coffee and supporting local, visit planet bean! I'm personally not a coffee drinker, but I almost became one from the smell!
Instead I ordered a jasmine tea (bonus points every time a cafe has more than one green tea option!), a strawberry fruit bar and berry muffin.
The tea was great, and the snacks were delicious! I honestly might come back for the fruit bar!!

The interior is much more spacious than I expected, and large windows give tons of natural light to make a great study spot!

Amazing staff. They know what they’re doing. I didn’t know coffee could taste this good! I seriously recommend the single origin coffees. And the cherry pie. Wonderful place to go to before 8:30 lectures.

They have a very nice and calm atmosphere. As soon as I walked in, the employees welcomed me, and it almost felt like home! The coffee is extraordinary, the best in Guelph! I truly recommend anyone to head on over to planet bean coffee as you wont regret it!

I love this place! It’s close to my work, they have inclusive signage and amazing matcha lattes. One time during the Santa parade they were swamped and they had staff working double time to get out all the hot chocolates. 100% one of the best coffee shops in the city.

We stop here whenever we're in downtown Guelph (there are several good restaurants we like in the area), as they really do make a great cup of coffee. Their lattes and capps are amazing and my seventeen year-old daughter loves their mochas. Pastry selection (being European, a definite must with very good coffee) is actually pretty good, but I really enjoy their almond biscotti.

Order a coffee, have a seat and enjoy some good conversation. You can't go wrong with place place.

I've lived in Guelph for 20 years. We have many great coffee shops, but Planet Bean has the best drip coffee in town. The space is a real community hub.

Very inclusive of all sexual orientation and has a good coffee aroma scent.

Excellent service and high quality products, what more could you ask for? The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. It's a fantastic spot to catch up with friends or have your morning cup.

Friendly attentive service. Server made sure I knew all the options available for the tastiest beverage possible. Honey, sugar, sweeteners, milk, cream, non-dairy, cinnamon, etc.

Good experience. Wide selection of products - eco-friendly and fair trade coffee, as well as non-caffeinated beverages. Good selection of locally baked goods served by friendly and helpful (though busy) staff.
