Ricky's Cafe - Burnaby

Very happy to eat at Ricky's again after the closing of the boundary location. The food is much better at this location and service is top notch. Pretty bad when I eat at a restaurant twice in a week but the food was that good. All your favourite food plus they will be adding a pizza menu soon. Parking is not bad but it is pay parking. I recommend the burgers as I keep coming back to eat more of them.

This place has the best fish & chips I have ever tasted. Definitely worth it for everyone. And the dessert... phenomenal.

Yesterday, I went there again and tried a plate of fettuccine alfredo, and by holy Sweet Christmas, it was the best pasta I have ever tasted. This restaurant deserves a recommendation.

This breakfast & lunch diner will not disappoint you. Everything from the delightful Hostess/Waitress who greeted us so pleasantly to the wonderful, tasty, generous meal to the very clean atmosphere and washrooms just made for a great morning!

I have eaten at other Ricky's locations in the past, but this fairly new Solo District restaurant is now my favourite of them all.

Great food, competitive prices, lovely service in a beautiful location, what more can you ask for? My personal recommend is the chicken and waffles, SOOOOO satisfying 🙌.

We had such an amazing time at breakfast. The service was above abs beyond most places we have been with plenty of times being asked for extra water and coffee and checking in on us. It’s funny how few places give refills. Our meals tasted great as they always have and definitely large portion sizes too. This is a great place for breakfast and would recommend

My family and i went there for a dinner. My husband and I ordered their famous beef liver and onions and my kid ordered tender chicken and shrimp platter. Everything was delicious. Liver onions meal comes in 2 sizes. I took smaller one and it was still a good portion for me. Staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the view. We were sitting near the window.

Food was delicious. Staff was super friendly and very prompt with everything. Atmosphere was nice as well.

I will definitely be back if I'm ever back in the area.

Delicious food and great staff! I loved the chorizo bowl, chicken avocado was good too. The stack of jam and peanut butter was also a plus. Oh I was forgetting to mention the coffee! Kind staff offer coffee all the time :)

I came here with my family since our usual Ricky's Homestyle restaurant which was blocks away closed. I am a little sad the other location closed. The hostess and our server were both very kind and attentive. The food was great. I appreciate the two hours free parking when you dine there. Just provide your parking receipt and they credit your bill the two dollars. They also have a treasure chest with choice of toy for children when you order a children's meal.

My colleague and I always come here for lunch and sometimes dinner as it's located just steps away from where we work. There's a large variety of food with their breakfast, lunch and dinner menus that we always enjoy. The staff are always good to us, which keeps bringing us back to our regular "go to place"

The best service. Warm, kind and friendly people who always greet you with a ☺ smile. French toast is pretty good too!

Waooooo , what a delicious breakfast!!!! We had BC Benny, Works Omelette , aside chorizo, delicious coffee and juices.
Susan offered a great professional and courteous service . It is a very cozy restaurant, which respects the social distance and sanitization.
Portions are generous and very affordable prices in whole very diverse breakfast menu .

The time I spent there was amazing.. I was in need for a place to set me a little notebook and cup of tea to send some proposals.. tables extremely clean!!! extra pointss for it.

Great Wifi service, 1/4lb burger lunch deal is greeat value.. burger is juicy and well built. cheers for the kitchen staff.
and a special cheer for Susan, who assisted me for the time I spent there with hot water and always paying attention if I needed something.

Came here with my parents and we enjoyed the food and hospitality of the staff. Lot of variety in the menu. Decent amount of parking and pretty new. Clean cafe and restaurant. Would come again.

The food here is consistently delicious and more affordable compared to nearby options. The service is excellent. It's a fantastic place to dine!

Always good even change menu.

I stopped for breakfast and ordered the Chicken and Avocado omelette and substituted the toast and hashbrowns for a side order of their chorizo sausage. The waitress was very pleasant and kept my coffee topped up and warm. The omelette was very delicious and worked well with the side chorizo. I left satisfied and ready to start my day.

Had a few pieces from the brunch menu delivered on a relaxed Sunday afternoon. This food was phenomenal. A true masterpiece in brunch time cuisine. And for it to be delivered without losing its quality was outstanding. 12/10 all round. Not to be missed.

I came here with my husband for breakfast. The food was great and the portion size was large. The server, Maria was awesome, (believe she is from Laos) was very attentive with our needs, she was great in asking us how we were doing so far and if we needed anything else, she is such an asset to your company. I noticed that she had a good rapport with her other customers as well, people come back for your great service, clean and pleasant atmosphere. Thanks to Maria, our server, we now know where to park also. All in all it was a great experience and we would definitely be back.

I wish there were more old style diners in Vancouver! Staff are so sweet and the food is always perfect. Me and my partner always go here for brunch dates!!
