I found it weird that the meat and the chicken products were past due date by two or three days…

There’s also other stuff like toiletries and area rugs and more not just grocery.

Overall there’s great deals and worth it to go try out for yourself.

Great discount store with lots of variety. Very similar to grocery outlet or Sals in Ajax.

All the people leaving negative reviews are uneducated and have no idea how best before dates work. They probably shop at Loblaws for 5x the price and clear have never heard of a grocery outlet. On the plus side all of the ignorance leaves more deals for me!

The only reviews i have seen about this store are about their bb dates. If something is SHELF STABLE it will literally last until an apocalypse. I completely support and commend this store for doing their best to sell the food we already have instead of adding to the mass consumption Personally i WILL be frequently shopping here and will tell my friends to do so as well

I see a lot of posts about best before dates.. Food purchasing decisions are an individual preference, and if BB dates are of ciritcal importance to you, then you might want to check the dates diligently when shopping at GDF. I think GDF having these shelf stable items available (and often at a substantial discount) addresses some real societal needs. Reducing food waste, and providing an avenue for low cost grocery is something to be commended, and is a valuable service to our community.

Clean, organized grocery store with a good variety of spices, sauces, snacks, dairy, frozen products and fresh produce. All available at a low reasonable price compared to other major grocery stores and retailers.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive and quality is above average. I love the variety of items available.

Fresh meat is available and butcher is always willing to help.
Plenty Parking spaces for convenience.

In the night it’s not very well lit, almost looks like the store is closed. Road facing open sign or brighter lights in the parking lot will drive more business potentially.

It's a very much needed grocery store in this community. A lot of different spices, vegetables, meats and many more. Extremely friendly and efficient staff, especially the manager at this store. I have always asked about what i needed today or what i was unable to find at the store. They're ready to provide anything and everything thing for this community. I'm really happy to see this store and their policies toward their customers. A very professional atmosphere, i must say, other stores are lacking at!

I have had multiple amazing experiences with this newly opened supermarket in my community.
How often do I get asked, Madam do you think we need to get more supplies of something specific that you are looking for? Never, I would say.
Totally thrilled and amazed with the clean and neatly organized aisles. Also, fresh stocks available from greens to fruits to fishes and meat which I have been looking for a while around the area. Extensive variety of our daily needs. Big big shout-out to this place with warm and friendly staff. We definitely needed one in this vicinity. Kudos.!

Went and tried their brand new hot food table today and it was all delicious with a great price point. Will definitely be back for more.

For a few weeks now, as we drove by the new Grandview Supermarket; I have thought to myself. “I really must check that new grocery store out.”
Well, today was the day.
As soon as I walked through the door I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean and fresh everything looked.
The fruits and vegetables were fresh and well stocked.
The selection of breads, flat breads and they even had packages of roti, a favourite of mine. Was very good.
As I walked around the store going up every aisle, their extensive varieties of food for every palette was impressive.
Will I shop there again. Most definitely.
Will I recommend the store to family and friends. I certainly will.
The friendly management and staff were very helpful. I was even told by the store manager that if I didn’t find anything I was looking for. “Just let me know and I can have it in the store for you the next day.”

I was delighted to find this store today, although a bit hidden at the moment, a great local one to find a plentiful variety of every day cooking needs plus the bonus of their well supplied Indian spices, fish from India, a butcher, meat (even Oxtail) and cultural contribution to the area. Grateful for the friendliness too. I can imagine how difficult it is keeping the shelves stocked at the time but I encourage a visit. Wishing this store plenty of support.

I'm so happy this place opened. No more driving to Markham to get what I need for Asian or Indian inspired meals! The staff are really friendly and helpful. The prices are extremely reasonable.

So happy that we have this little gem in our community. I often find myself popping in to get some forgotten recipe items. They have such a variety of diverse foods, spices and sauces. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Hope they stay and our community supports them.

Fresh produce manager/owner used to work at another big grocery store for over 20 years. Has contacts with the same suppliers. Very friendly and helpful. Authorized a special price adjustment for me for apples that were sold out. Removed the few remaining ones that had a few damaged areas. Then had the cashier helped me to my car with my purchase!
