Amazing food. The server was very nice explained the menu and helped us choose favourites. So many VEGAN options.
They have a separate vegan menu with some plant based meat options.

We ordered vegan Halloumi fires, kebbeh.
Falafel plate and chicken plant based plate.
Everything was delicious. 5 stars for the food. Their dips were insanely delicious. Fresh and so flavorful.

If you're in Guelph or nearby must go for plant based meals there.

The service was great, the food was delicious, portions were big. So many options to choose from.

Update- tried the beef kafta from the vegan menu tonight and it was absolutely delicious. So much flavour and a huge portion. They now have an entire vegan menu.

We have been thinking about checking out this place ever since they opened, and finally did so.
I am surprised we took so long to put this restaurant in our "support local / Support Small business" list, but it is now officially making its way into our regular rotation.
We ordered two meals - Tawook plate, and the Kafta Plate.
Both came with salad, and sides and everything were very plentiful.

The food has excellent flavour profiles with lots of seasonings and spices.
The flavours are so good.
I couldn't finish my meal because there was so much.

We ordered over the phone and picked up our order to ensure we did a minimal contact transaction.
The people were very nice and friendly.
The transaction was very uneventful and smooth.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic started, we have made more substantial efforts to take out orders from local restaurants, specifically SMALL, family-run businesses, to help do our part to support these small businesses during tough times. Roguetrippers typically order take out once but sometimes twice a week.
We avoid using any food delivery companies to ensure that the money goes back to the restaurant, and no commissions to the delivery company.

Retour Bistro in Guelph is a fantastic place to grab a meal.

During this time of Covid, I felt super comfortable walking in. They have spacing everywhere, for customers to wait. The customer service was fantastic. The gentleman I spoke with said he likes to ensure a customer's food is as fresh as possible, which is why my earliness had me wait for my food, for the time I said I'd pick up at which was 6:00pm.
The vegan menu is fantastic also.
I ordered the pizza with walnuts and also the vegan chicken dish. This may be my go to place for date nights with my wife.

This place was an awesome last minute find! The food was exactly what we all were looking for. A feat in itself with three of us, including a sullen teenager, having entirely different cravings last night lol! The entirely seperate vegetarian menu is dynamite & topped off with great service we cannot wait to return. Especially will be worth it if they bring in that chai tea I had a hankering for 🖤

Wanted to try somewhere different than our regular delivery spots and was so happy we did. Family got pizza, wrap and falafel for dinner. Prices reasonable, delivery timely and food was the best smelling delivery package ever. We devoured our meals with delight and look forward to our next meal.

Absolutely the best falafel I have had in years! And their halloumi fries?? Don’t get me started! To. Die. For.

Edited - sad to see falaffel wrap increasing in price so drasticly from $8 -$11.99. Why is it the same price as a chicken wrap? Seems a bit steep for a veggie option. :(

Took my friend here for a birthday dinner. The food was fantastic and the service was great, our server Saige was extremely helpful with the menu and very knowledgeable. I'll definitely be going back again and if your looking for an affordable night out you should check this place out.

Service was excellent. Food was super delicious. Unique as to stand out in guelph which is challenging to do.

Fantastic Lebanese offerings with many other options. Fresh, delicious and authentic. Even children will find something to enjoy. The garlic sauce rates 5/5 per my wife - it's got a kick. Many vegan options on a separate menu as well. You won't regret trying it.
PS - It's small, so make a reservation on the weekend.

Fabulous Lebanese food in charming restaurant, located in downtown Guelph. We thoroughly appreciated the regular menu for our friends and a plant-based menu for us. So many excellent options in both menus. The food was delicious to say the least. The server was knowledgable and delightful.

Came in for lunch. Food was full of flavour and well presented. Staff is friendly and helpful. Looks like a great date night stop if your looking for something unique.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time! The food was outstanding. My boyfriend is vegan, and they had a full vegan menu to accommodate his needs. The staff was so friendly and kind as well. Our waitress, Erin, was particularly lovely. She checked in regularly, engaged with us kindly, and spent time making sure all of our needs are met. You can tell she really cares about what she does. We will be back!

Always a great place for quiet conversation. Pleasant decor inside. Best to eat in for best food quality. Interesting selection of tasty Lebanese. Service has been exceptional...sensitive, knowledgeable. There's no parking.

Me and my family love this place! The rice and spices are amazing, the wraps full and delicious, and the garlic sauce and hummus are *drinkable* (we want more!). A must-add to your order is the fried halloumi - I've never tasted it quite like that with the sweet glaze. Yum :)
