DeBAR Dessert Cafe

Can't talk about this place enough. They have sweets, food, coffee, cocktails, ice cream and the decor makes the whole place feel relaxing. I can't wait to go back and sit down for a drink. I absolutely recommend this place!!!!

Popped in for an impromptu and very rushed lunch with my 6 year old. The service could not have been better!!! So thoughtful and went above and beyond to surprise and delight my little one with a sweet treat unasked. Also made our food quickly as I mentioned we were in a rush. Very friendly atmosphere. Great quality food. The kind of place you’d go out of your way to go back to.

Absolutely fantastic place with a super friendly owner.
I went a few weeks ago while visiting my cousins. They wanted to take me to DeBAR after telling me about the great desserts, except we got there about 20 minutes after it closed. We moved off to the side and were looking up other dessert options when the door opened and a jolly voice asked if we wanted ice cream. We turned and saw a nice man olding the door open, we admitted yes we wanted dessert, but we also understood they were closed. He laughed and declared he was the owner and could decide if he was open or not, then promptly ushered us inside. He then took the time to turn on the lights in the cafe and the showcases, and very proudly explained all the cakes and brownies he had as well as rotating flavors of ice cream. We got our desserts (which were delicious), paid, and scurried away with many thanks. It was a fantastic experience and a great story to tell. The owner is such a friendly, stand up guy. I will definitely recommend this place whenever I have the chance.

A dessert bar to die for, but also do much more!! My daughter and I were drooling at the sight of the sweets behind the glass! Picking out only one, or two, or 5 goodies was a challenge. So delicious. We also got a coffee and took everything to go. To our surprise, they also have an amazing menu…breakfast and lunch. However, we were overjoyed to see Beyond Meat option on the menu as well. As vegetarians, seeing this made us very happy. Great place.

Food is excellent, Home-cooked excellent. Price for quality was excellent. Fast service. Huge variety for lunch and In-between meals. Comfy lounge chairs were game changer! Highly recommend.

Brownie is super chocolaty goodness. Can't even tell that its gluten vegan etc.
Cookies are delicious.
Thank you for not putting raisins in your butter tarts. They are amazing.

Stopped by for the live music on a Friday night. Vibes are very chill, friendly and casual here. Got some local Sorbet which I ate before getting a picture of. Paired very nicely with the very rich brownie.
Ordered the vegan chilli, which was super flavourful. It's obvious that the meat is beyond meat and not ground beef, but its not a bad thing if you don't mind the texture since it tastes delicious. The salad has real bacon and cheese though!

Delicious carrot cheese cake and raspberry pomegranate tea in a comfortable place, with nice chilling music and friendly service.

Wonderful experience! Great dessert and cocktails. Service was excellent! Live guitarist was such a nice surprise and made our night! Recommend the carrot cake cheesecake! We will definitely be back soon!

This is an awesome place to chill with friends. Friday night is open Mike night from 6-9. Saturday karaoke from 7-10. Relaxed casual atmosphere. Amazing coffee and desserts.

Amazing experience. Came here on a whim because the cafe I was originally going to was closed but what a happy coincidence it was. The staff was extremely patient while my cousin and I decided what we were going to order, the food was brought to us quickly and it all tasted delicious. The gentleman who I assume is the owner brought us a bunch of freebies, including the two whole pieces of cake featured in the picture. Extremely friendly and wonderful service. Would come back again!

Amazing service. Takes food allergies and sensitivities very seriously. The food was delicious! Will be coming back. A lot of gluten free dairy free desserts. Very impressed

Debar turns into a nightclub with good music. The staff is friendly, nice desserts and gluten free options. Cool spot to chill with friends on a Friday and Saturday night. Best of all, free entry.

What a pleasant surprise. Debar is a lot more than a dessert bar. Just had a delicious breakfast with wonderful @lostaviatorcoffee coffee! Excellent service as well!

My friends & I are all servers at the Keg and work most evenings, so we decided to have a combined birthday brunch at DeBar with the rest of our girlfriends so everyone could make it. I booked in advance for 20+ of us and coordinated for a couple desert & fruit platters to be set out. The staff was amazing in every way when hosting us - the platters were delicious, they set up the room the way we wanted, super prompt with keeping up with our multiple mimosa orders, and of course while serving us a delicious brunch. Thank you guys again for an amazing experience! We definitely recommend to everyone ☺

The food, especially the deserts, are absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is calming and spacious. But most importantly, for Karaoke and Live Recordings, the surroundings and sound interiors are phenomenal! Best place to do Karaoke, and even purchase said recordings from the lovely Donny V., with the loveliest Ultra-Violet doing numbers! It is a place I LOVE to return, and even build my vocals and musical skills on!

Loved it here tonight! Really nice atmosphere. Great music & vibes. The staff and other customers were sooo pleasant. Also, absolutely loved the espresso martinis & vegan desserts.
