Back Road Cafe

Went for my husbands birthday for breakfast and the food was great, but service was even better! My husband loves clubs and said this was one of the best he's had. I got a veggie omelette which was also delicious. Go if you haven't!

Very quick and awesome service! Polite and attentive staff! Great food and big portions! I went in skinny, and came out 8mos pregnant it seems (and I'm male!)!! Very fair prices! No charge for coffee, including refills! Went on the recommendation of a coworker and the very positive reviews! I wasn't disappointed at all!

Always the best service. We have been coming here for well over 15 years. Deb is our absolute favorite server (but they are all good).

Food is always hot, always consistent. Best eggs Benny in town!

And the rice pudding? To die for.

Love this place, great little dinner for an amazing and quick lunch.

My husband & I never order burgers anymore as many restaurants are serving the dreaded frozen patty or meat with added fillers. Not at Backroad Cafe. We trusted our server & ordered burgers. Pleasantly surprised, these were the very best burgers we have had in a very long time. Just old school flat top grilled pure beef burgers. 👍🏼 well done Staff! Can’t wait to go back!

Great cafe with amazing service. The waiter was super friendly and the staff helped me and my friends afterwards with suggestions. Food portions were huge and very filling. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Happy that this cafe is still open after so many years. Forget "trendy" places that charge extra for everything. Go to the Back Road Cafe for great food, great value and great service.

Amazing eggs Benedict!!! The way they presented the it was very enticing and mouth watering! The taste was great too, it was very nice to dip our bread in to. The reuben deluxe was very tasty and seasoned well. The cheese completed the taste and experience.

For the first time being there I found the food quite tasty, the staff were very friendly and my food came very quick even with how busy the place was

Got here with a group of 4 EMCO teammates for 6am, right at opening. Quick service, great food, adequate amount of check-ins by our server. The breakfast special is really good!

I am a regular customer and am very impressed with the quality of breakfast, excellent/fast service and wonderful friendly and hard working staff. One day when I went for breakfast it was full with people but I still got my breakfast very fast and it was delicious as always. The cooks are amazing at multitasking with making food in house and take out orders.

Very comfortable like eating at grandma's with a whole bunch of local regulars, kind of like "Cheers" but a diner!!! Staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is outstanding!!! We started with the poutine and then cruised into a hearty yummylicious breakfast!!! Definitely try the peameal bacon!!!

My favourite place for breakfast. Food here is absolutely amazing, and I would recommend replacing the Homefries with Tater Tots.

I enjoyed the hot roast beef meal and my husband was stuffed after having the fish special, sorry don't remember what type of fish. His fries were the best I've had in ages!! I only had one, lol. My love is mashed potatoes and those were perfection!

My husband liked the look of the hot roast beef so much that a week later we ordered two for take out. Which was still delicious!
The reason for the 4/5 for atmosphere was because we went at that time of year when it's cold outside but AC is still on. Even though the waitress let us move, it was a bit cold for me and cooled my husband's food too fast for his liking.

This restaurant is a staple for a solid breakfast and having the same atmosphere for as many years as they have been open. Never a bad choice in meal options and great for Dine-in or Takeout.
