Thousand Islands National Park is an absolute treasure and a must-visit for nature lovers. The park is stunning, with its crystal-clear waters, lush islands, and beautiful wildlife. Whether you're into kayaking, hiking, or just soaking up the serene surroundings, this place has something for everyone.

The hiking trails are well-marked and offer breathtaking views of the islands and the St. Lawrence River. We particularly enjoyed the trails on Mallorytown Landing, which provided a perfect mix of forest and waterfront scenery. The park is also a haven for birdwatchers, with plenty of opportunities to spot various species in their natural habitat.

Camping here is a dream. The campsites are clean, well-spaced, and offer incredible views, especially those right by the water. It's an amazing experience to wake up to the sound of the river and the sight of the islands in the morning mist.

Loved my visit to the Thousand Islands national park. I visited the place on a warm summer's day. Selected this as a stop in the drive from Toronto to Ottawa. This was a very welcome break from the monotonic Highway driving.
Plenty of parking available( for a very modest fee of under 10 cad). The staff were friendly and pointed out the nice spots to us. Nice little nooks around the Lake with enough privacy to change near that lake of you really didn't want to walk from the restrooms to the lake in your sun wear.
I loved the area and will come back next time with my kids. Children friendly. I can easily see me and the family coming here on a nice sunny day and spending all day doing the different things - swim in the lake, trek around the park, have a barbeque and finish up with another swim .

It is very scenic. The cottages and mansions are something else. Don't miss the Boldt Castle. It is very impressive and quite the love story.

Went with my partner and 2 dogs to island camp at Thousand Islands National Park. Our site was clean and cozy with the right amount of shade and openess to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The park staff was great! Friendly, helpful, informative and always had a smile.
They had a popup information booth about the turtles that inhabited the area along with some fun booths for Canada Day long weekend (parking was free for vehicles but not for boat and trailers)

Wonderful park. My kids had a great time wading in the water and the views were amazing. Everyone was friendly and there were a lot of educational displays and signs.

A lot to do! Many hiking trails on the mainland, so if you don't have a boat, you can still enjoy much of what this park has to offer!

Otentik we stayed at Mallory Landing very clean. Although it is close to a main road, it's pretty quiet. All otentik at Mallory Landing have some water front access which is quite nice.

Amazing places about 1 hr drive from Ottawa ( Barrhaven) and with countless length of fantastic biking paths, Waterfront Trail, one of our favourite places for a day trip, picnic with beautiful views along the water. Bring your bikes , park your car and ride along the water :) bring your picnic food and water with you!

Nice park on water with a playground, bbqs, and lots of picnic tables. There are restrooms, but they closed at the end of the afternoon.

A beautiful park right in the water. The best boat launch between Brockville and Kingston. Lots of parking and the day pass was under $20. We've glamped there before. Certainly a notch up from camping. The staff are awesome they are informed and helpful. They seem to enjoy their work environment... who wouldn't in such a beautiful spot
