The place has such a warm feeling that you want to keep going there everyday!
A large variety of options in the menu. I had a hamburger and it was brilliant. Also tried the chicken Souvlaki, again, brilliant!

Always a great experience at Olympia, today was the exact same! Clubhouse was amazing, fries were piled high and the waitress was attentive and friendly. Old school style diner with good prices, definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.

Hadn’t been since Covid hit and this was my weekly favorite lunch place for over ten years working in Bowmanville so it was a lovely treat with the whole family. Eggs Benedict with peameal bacon and home fries on the grill with onion - DELICIOUS, as always. Great coffee. Fast service. You know a restaurant is good when the waitress has been there for years and she is still smiling.

My Mom & I went to Olympia for the first time on Thursday for lunch and loved the food, but most importantly the service. We had an amazing server named Haley, who recommended the Olympia burger & fish and chips when we asked about her menu favourites. We loved everything about our experience and will be stopping by every time we are in town!

I went there this morning with my kids we had the Eggs Benedict which was one of the best I’ve ever had my son add the Philly cheesesteak and loved it the service there was excellent and we will be returning

One of the best places for breakfast. A reasonable meal full of eggs, bacon, hash brown and fries all for less than $10. A very reasonable spot and the portions are quiet filling. The staff here are super friendly and made the experience quiet great.

Great family owned diner! We’ve gone a couple of times now and have not been disappointed. Their portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The wait staff is friendly and the food comes out fairly quickly and made to order. The menu is extensive, so there’s plenty of options for whatever your craving may be. We will be back to try more items from their menu.

Much more hospitable than larger franchise restaurants. Homey atmosphere, good food and reasonably priced. Add their great service, and it's a winner..worth the time and money.

A group of three is us. I enjoyed the triple decker chicken ,side of of too many fries and slaw. My sisters had the haddock fish & chips. They enjoyed and commented how hard it is to find a good fish and chip. The two lady servers were very pleasant and attentative. You could see they were very efficient at their jobs and seem to be very happy to be taking care of their customers.. Place was very clean. Closes at 2pm. Washrooms were small and perhaps should be considered for renovation. Seems to be a local favorite. Overall a very enjoyable lunch.

Dropped in for lunch with my toddler and kindergartener. My kiddos were a bit hangry after our morning activities and so they were being a bit of a handful, but I was welcomed with big smiles and coloring books at the ready! Our server was delightful, and totally understood the challenge of keeping two young kids occupied so we didn't bother other patrons. We ordered a chicken caesar wrap and an order of chicken fingers and fries. The food came impossibly fast (like I wonder if they bumped my order because I was on borrowed time with my littles), but I noticed that they're able to turn out most meals just as quickly. The fingers are those old school, white meat deliciousness and the fries are the best chip truck quality, with all the beautiful crunchy bits. The wrap was super fresh and a generous portion. They use high quality ingredients and never waiver from their exceptional service. My kids settled in and cleaned their plates, which says a lot! We were able to get on our way making excellent time, but I will definitely return be returning, perhaps with my husband or a friend to spend a little more time enjoying myself. Thank you Olympia!

My go to Eggs Benedict spot. Very filling and tasty. The eggs and hollandaise sauce are perfect! I’m not a big potatoes person, but their side of potatoes are super flavourful, and perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Highly recommend this breakfast place.

Very good food. Typical diner, a bit rundown but the service and meal very much make up for it! Portions are huge and food is perfectly cooked.

Great Omlete. Great service. My family of 4 had a good time there. Will revisit even we live in Toronto.

It appears that the restaurant has made a lot of small but very significant changes:

1. The waitresses were very friendly!
2. They upgraded their ordering system to fully digital that even the waitresses took order using electronic pad.
3. The Greek Salad sets a new standard for the salad around. They use real goat cheese that taste like it was just taken out of its brine.
4. The Liver and Onions is one of the best that I have had. Very tender and flavourful.

Thanks for making such great improvement to the old diner that has a lot of sentimental memories to a lot of customers.

I am very disappointed during my last visit on Easter Sunday:
1. The waiteress​ wrote down the wrong order - she was sorry about it, which I was ok with and accepted the incorrect order.
2. Another waiteress​ could be heard talking fairly loud as she walks around on how much she is looking forward to finish the shift - yes we all do it, but does this means I am receiving a sub par service?
3. When I as the waiteress #2 about the incorrect order, instead of trying to help, she said right away, it was not her table and she walked away to get waitress #1
4. No interact? But bank machine?
5. Souvlaki Chicken is supposed to be real Chicken marinated in spices and grilled on a skewer. Their version is frozen chicken sprinkles with spices and grilled.

We should have gone to Snug in New Castle.

Haley is an amazing server, even when busy shecwas on top of everything! The food is exactly what you eznt and expect from a city diner. Highly recommend!!

Great food and service!!! The quantity and quality of food for the price is unmatched. The service is great too, will come back!

I've eaten breakfast here a few times over the years and they have never disappointed me. The waitresses are always very friendly and kind, and patient with my special needs son.
The food is always hot and fresh too!
My only "complaint" would be the bathroom. It's not accessible for people who have mobility devices.
I don't think there is a solution for the space they have, but it is an observation.

Went for breakfast with my girlfriend for my 50th birthday 🎉...we ordered peameal bene and it was delicious. The servers are all pleasant and not one server walked past without offering more coffee. Thank you for an awesome morning..
